I can not be fcuked to read through eight pages of bollicks, so I'll hazzard a guess and say that the majority of it is moaning because we didnt go out and slap our willys around the toons collective forehead and dry hump them 96-0. GET A f***IN GRIP. We were a slighty above average championship side less than 10 months ago with a Wilf. We are probably the smallest club in terms of fan base and spending power in the bottom 9 or ten clubs of the prem, we certainly have the cheapest squad in the divison and spent the least money, and now with out a wilf. What we do have in spades is team spirit, and a desire to not go down, and a manager that as far as I am concerned is playing to our strengths. This is Palace we were never going to be mid table, we've never survived more than one season in the prem, yet we still (despite all the wrist slitting and throat slashing on here) have a chance of staying up, and looking at the other teams run ins, a bloody good chance. So stop moaning like a cheap crack whore, We are Palace and we might, just might defy the odds and the knockers and stay up.

What an utterly ridiculous thing to say. Totally disagree. Nothing, provided you actually do that. We have no hope of getting something playing at home to another team in our division ? Ridiculous. How much hope would Ipswich, or Reading or Watford have against them at home ? Some, but not much. Everyone has some chance in this league and therefore some hope. You may not have, but it literally can't be based on goal scoring and league position as that doesn't make sense. You're just incredibly negative and miserable - it's not the same thing. if you are not just stirring it up and genuinely believe we have a chance of getting even a point against Chelsea, you need your bumps read mate. Why ? Finchers, another one in meltdown, I saw on another thread he doesn't want to watch this anymore. I think it's a collective Hol time of the month! Okay, why? the way we are playing vs the way Chelsea are dismantling teams - we'd be lucky with a 3:0 defeat on saturday let alone a point. Meltdown? not exactly chum. Just had enough of watching the same dross, listening to the same excuses and then coming on here and reading the same rose tinted cack from keyboard experts/warriors such as yourself week in , week out. The whole matchday experience of going to see Palace has soured for me, despite being in the B block, so, at the risk of uspetting you and dear god, exercising my right to choose, I've decided not to renew my season ticket for next year, despite having had it for at least the last 15 years or so. Thing is chum, most people decide to go or not to go without broadcasting their hissy fit to the watching world, but that's your choice Not a hissy fit at all, and if you actually read some of what has been written, you'll see I was actually explaining the raesoning behind my decision. But don't worry, i'll stay on here so I can still keep you company. I did read what you wrote and you are sick of hearing the same cack from keyboard warriors such as me, that's amusing as you're on here most of the day. but you go ahead mate

How can he be wrong? they had 73 per cent possession with 20 odd shots on goal ffs take your rose tinted specs off we got off lightly again. We can not draw our way to safety we actually need to try and win some games. Jesus what game were you lot watching Sorry, what game were you watching? They had 8 shots on target and we both hit the bar and missed 1-on-1's.
You don't seem to have the emotional maturity for football, let alone Palace. I would suggest curling might be a better option for you So when facts are aimed against your statements you resort to slander nice one mate keep up the good work cant wait to read your reply to that Sorry but when such knee jerk, dribbling imbecility that flies so far in the face of what actually went on is displayed it can only be that you have the emotional capabilities to handle upset of an 8 year old girl - its about the only conclusion anyone can draw Oh and it would be libel NOT slander btw - just in case you want to take me to court If you want to judge games on what the Opta Index says knock yourself out - try using the old grey matter to decipher what your eyes actually witnessed instead Edited by The Sash (22 Mar 2014 7.20pm)

Last time I looked we were still 3 points off the drop zone but given that half our remaining games are against either potential champions or at least Europe contenders I can understand the pessimism Getting back to the op did we deserve a point (or more) yes. The logic of football is simple, team A tries to put the ball in team B's net without conceding and vice versa. Newcastle had to wait until the 94th minute in a 93 minute match before scoring and also we had what looked like a reasonable shout for a penalty just seconds before. Newcastle had 21 shots of which 8 were on target against our 8 with 1 on target. We had Speroni making some great saves and they had Krul doing likewise but isn't that what keepers are supposed to do? ie yes they had shots but we stopped all bar one which was after time was up (in a boxing match it would have been stopped). I am still an optimist fearing the worst but we are in a much better position than we should have been in if you believe the bookies, pundits etc.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

We spent the last four years trying to avoid going to league 1, so I'm more than happy for us to have a season in the sun, and if we're championship next season, then so be it. We'll be a better championship prospect than we were at the start of our last season in the championship, and with luck the Scum and the Clowns will be relegated down to league 1.

I hate to say it, but the moment you replace your two most dangerous attacking threats in the match (Bolasie and Puncheon) and replace them with two centre mids, who then get played out of position in a midfield already containing multiple DMCs, then you do deserve to lose. That is not football. Palace were holding their own, albeit mostly on the counter. Rather than continuing and possibly snatching 3 points on the break (which almost happened with some of Bolasie's dangerous runs) Pulis decided to play anti-football. We got punished for it.
