I would find it very difficult to say who was a better goalkeeper out of Nigel Martyn and Julian Speroni...both borderline world class for me!

And incorrect Homes.

And of course incorrect

Definitely Incorrect. He is a Palace legend and I used to think that Nigel Martyn would be the No 1 Palace keeper for me, but the loyalty and consistency shown by Speroni.........He is Palace and pushes Nigel out I am afraid. I will DEFINITELY cry when he goes. Hopefully that will not be this season.

Our fate ?
We will be a PL club next season!
Murray is picking up at the right time and Jules has been as always fantastic!
And what about our fans?
Imagine PL without our fans.
Pulis need to be a bit more aggressive against the "big boys" .
Just my humble opinion.
Jules?
Sign him for another 4 or 6 years like Van Der Sar (retired at 40) in United.
He seems to be in great shape and deserves our support and trust.
He was there and saved us when they took 10 points out of our table, clean sheets at playoffs and an amazing save in the 87' vs. Watford at Wmbley.
We wouldn't be in PL if Jules and others like him wouldn't play for Palace.
Don't forget legends, enjoy them. He is 1 of them in my book.

It's impressive that Jules is taking the long term view, opening a restaurant and consolidating his roots in Croydon. He knows his career at Palace will come to an end sooner or later and is ready for that. In his video interview he appeared cool, strategic and intelligent - great virtues for a keeper, apart from anything else. He will be a Palace hero for sticking with us for so long as well as for some wonderful and crucial saves. Personally I think that Nigel Martyn was marginally better but the difference is small and doesn't really matter.

The right place at the right time
