At a low key game I wouldn't have an objection to a fan of the opposition team in the wrong section. I did it at Coventry in 2004 and the fans around me were fine as we were respectful and it was a nothing game for them.

However, Manchester United games are different. Their support in London has stifled the growth of london clubs. They've encouraged this by opening club shops in Croydon in the past.

If a Man U supporter wants tickets they should get them through Man U. We should not help their supporters to see them play as we are in competition with them for supporters in South London.

As many tickets should be available for palace fans as possible. Fairweather supporters and neutrals may be encouraged to go to more palace games if they go to the big games and enjoy it, rather than united fans.

If the have bought a membership a category a ticket and a category b ticket at least we got some money but it will not help the club grow.

That was a longer rant than I expected.

The game would have sold out weeks ago ago if there was the demand. As it is there are 300 tickets left with only 48 hours to go. No Palace member nor season ticket holder nor their friends are missing out.

So a few man u are scattered around. Unless it was a 100% sell out so what? AS long as they behave. There are some right anal nigels on here. Again.

Is the right answer.

To be fair, I agree with this, if it was a sell out then I'd have a concern but its not, if the odd away fan is in there and keeps it respectful then fine, otherwise they need kicking out

You're a disgrace.

And you're embarrassing, frankly.

How am I embarrassing for giving some one who does not have a ticket mine. It would be embarrassing if I told him to try the burger's we all know our Pies are delightful.

He was talking about the shedevil thing Lenny.

Thing?

Coming from someone that has the head of an alien and lays with goats, I'll take that as a compliment.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

Allowing a Manchester United fan to sit in the home end is somewhat akin to inviting a burgler round your house to sit on the sofa.

Its just something you should not do. The Owners of the club have said No Manchester United in the homes ends and all Palace fans should respect that.

This^^^^
Maybe Delaney will launch himself right in to the Utd fans if he gets any abuse?
Reading a lot of what's been said on here I'm actually disappointed by a section of our support buying tickets for glory hunting mates in the homes is c-ntish and if it does kick off be it on there heads.
I'm pleased our owners are not letting clubs take the piss at Selhurst which happened a lot in the 90s and was embarrassing ,I now know why we are known as the Nigel's and the laughable suggestion we could sit side by side with away fans is the most deluded nonsense I've read on here this week .it won't happen a 100 years of football have not changed this .

Football has changed in the last 35 years, before common decency & respect allowed supporters to sit together & do what the paid to do - watch the football.

Supporters did not sit 35 years ago.
They stood and made a racket

No. I think I'd remember someone as ugly and as sad as you. A creature as hideous as you belongs in a pickling jar in a mad scientists lab.

Anyway you sleeping with anyone is quite frankly laughable!

And by the way after talking with the likes of a monstosity like you, I've decided I'm now in favour of abortion for cases of incest.

I'd bid you good night but I guess this is the time you prowl the streets looking to 'pick up trade'.

I've noticed away fans around me in the Arthur this season, against Spurs and West Ham. No doubt at other games they've been there too, and I just didn't even notice it. The ones I did notice kept it quiet.

Honestly it just happens, you get away fans in the home ends.

In principle, yeah, it would dilute the atmosphere if the ground was full of away fans. But in practice it doesn't have that effect. The away fans keep quiet and the Palace fans, who are massively in the majority obviously, do their job and make noise.

Man United fans from London are generally mugs, I agree. But whatever, there will be some in the home ends. No point worrying about it.

Segregation is there for a reason - to protect fans from violence. If any fan is supporting Man Utd in the home stands they should be thrown out immediately. They probably all live locally anyway - glory hunters.
