Michu is not a striker. He is a like for like replacement for chamakh. Warnock did talk about replacing with quality, maybe that's what he has in mind. Playing them together wouldn't work, they are too similar.

He has played as a striker for the last 3 seasons , and in what way are they similar ? Chamakh carries no goal threat whatsoever and is more of a link man , Michu is very direct and is much more creative.

Would be a very good option instead of Chamakh. He's not one to lead the line though, and as stated his injuries have been an issue recently.

He'd be a great addition to the squad, but wouldn't be the new striker we are looking for. Personally can't see it happening.

Chamakh is injury prone too, and right now is out for a month, so would slot right in as an attacking midfielder. There is also a rumour about Gomis, so how about a double swoop?!

The player I would like us to sign is Currently on-loan at Napoli from Swansea and that is Michu.

When he first went to Swansea he proved himself as a Premier League Striker and certainly found the Net regularly with head and feet.

A Quality Player that would fit well into our Team and given the Quality Delivery our wide men can provide I could see him being a real success at Palace.

Please Steve P and CPFC 2010 and NW let's have a real good Transfer window in January, just like last Year by adding some Quality to our Squad, which would help us to be a Premier League Club once again Next Season.

What this MIchu?

The 28-year-old has made only five appearances for the Serie A club, has failed to play a full 90 minutes and has yet to score for Rafa Benitez's side.

Good choice.

The only reason we would have a chance to sign a player of michu quality is if he isn't fit or firing , it wasn't long ago he was being linked with arsenal and got called up to the Spain squad.

Exactly. Some people think we're a bloody Barcelona/Bayern/United. A proven goalscorer at top flight level still doing the business is a. Unaffordable and b. Will never want to join us. Therefore we have two options. Gamble on a player from the championship or abroad who has a good goal scoring record but is untried at premier level. Or you get a player in who has done the business in the past but has lost his way.

That would be my choice, and Deeney would be that choice. We don't have he time to get Michu fit and firing again imo.

If he's not crocked - would we welcome him to Palace? Could be a nice option in behind the striker. Probably not first team but we might get him cheap. (suggestion)
