Geoff you are a true Gent and up there with my all time great players alongside Wrighty and Brighty, a genuine man and a captain that everyone at the club respected, i'm sure you will pull thru' and return to the Palace one day for a re-union.

Good luck Geoff. One of the true heros at Selhurts Park .... and you can count then on two hands. If you fight your illness as hard as you fought for us on the pitch, then you'll be ok mate. Take care .... come and see us at Selhurst as soon as you can.

Geoff, you were the most successful Captain that we have ever seen down at Selhurst. You replaced Bryan Robson in the England team, never lost an international match & with a little more luck would have had many more caps(perhaps as Captain). You helped make Palace the third best team in the country & if you can do that, then you can overcome this hurdle. You & your family are in the thoughts & prayers of tens of thousands of people.

Best of luck Geoff. You were one of our greatest players and I've lost my rag with a few so called "football" fans who mention that infamous England vs France game. One of my memories was you scoring with your right foot at Cambridge in the 1990 FA Cup run along with many inspirational performances in the middle of the park. Get well soon.
