I disagree. If you have the audacity to vote against the democratic majority as a mere politician then you should be prepared to stand up. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (16 Dec 2017 12.30pm) Last poll had 44% of the 51.8% saying they would definitely vote Leave again if there were a referendum tomorrow. It appears from that that she is now standing up for the majority. You should be singing her praises not castigating her.

I voted Brexit I don't understand the position of the remainers. They lost the referendum but the Tories then gave them an opportunity to over turn the result at the last general election. If people in this country are so desperate to stay in the EU why did they not vote for a pro EU party? If the remianers are in a majority why they have failed to change the policy of the 2 main parties? Brexit happened because UKIP votes scared the Tories. Why not imitate that and vote Lib Dem? Well they didn't so even if Corbyn forms a government tomorrow it is still on a Brexit manifesto. For the record I have no problem with the Tory rebels defeating the government. Parliament should have the final say on any treaty. It is a pity that they didn't show the same enthusiasm over the last 40 years of EU legislation. Anyway as long as they understand that the vote is about the new arrangements and a no vote means we leave the EU without a deal.

Millions of jobs were going to go, yet we have the lowest unemployment in generations I and 17m others voted not to go into a Federal Europe which, by stealth, would happen. Labelling us as being irrational for not wanting to be undemocratically subsumed into a superstate is arrogant and false.

You want your own way by any means possible. That gets zero respect from me.

And I am still delighted that we are leaving.

I am pleased we are remaining as that is what we are doing. The PM was applauded after her remain presentation at the summit. We could go back in 3 months for more talks but why bother as we are giving more away each time for no reason. Can you leave but remain? Very much so and that's the end game here.

That could also be seen as arrogant and false.
