That is not really possible.

Do I think the balance of benefit to risk favours the vaccines? Yes.
Will there be resentment toward those who don't get inoculated? Inevitably.

I can see a race backlash on this, with even the BBC reporting a poor response from the ethnic communities on vaccinations. Regrettably, these are communities who are also disproportionately represented in terms of infection and, particularly, serious infection and death.

The majority will not be pleased if they see what they may perceive to be the minority causing the delay of return to some semblance of "normal", an unnecessary diversion of public funds to which they have contributed most, pressure on an already straining health care system, and even risk to public health of a possible breeding ground for new and possibly more dangerous mutations.

Question, is: how will this be articulated through the mainstream media; and will there be any policy to address it? Can there be any policy?

I imagine the safest route will be followed i.e. continue the charm offensive to get the jab which is targeted through the words of people who are trusted; and a great deal of fingers crossed in Whitehall it will all blow over.

That's probably what I'd do!

We are not allowed to talk about the risks associated with unvaccinated illegal immigrants or those with religious convictions because we would then be 'racist'.
The media would much rater blame the government for everything and appear virtuous.
Of course, there are still plenty who are not in either of those categories who are resisting the jab, and it is their right to do so. It is also the governments right to deny them the same freedoms as the vaccinated population in the interests of public health.

Of course, it is not your right to be in Britain illegally, but let's not talk about that. The thought police might be listening.

According to a March 2021 poll conducted by The Associated Press/NORC, vaccine scepticism is more widespread among white evangelicals than most other blocs of Americans. 40% of white evangelical Protestants stated they weren't likely to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

We are talking about Britain.

I'm happy to agree that irrational religious beliefs are still a big problem in 2021 irrespective of who holds them or where.
In Britain, most of that particular problem does not involve Christians, as you well know.

You did understand I was talking about staff in Care Homes I assume.

I struggle to find any religion that discourages vaccination, certainly not Islam.

I'm not sure their beliefs discourage vaccinations. They weren't invented back then. However, many women have their freedoms curtailed, hence the government efforts to encourage them.

Regardless of who/which community is causing the main issues by not having the vaccine it would be unwise to actually put it out there because the nutters would go and attack those communities and cause mayhem.
The charm offensive and encouragement from within is the way forward.
There is no doubt that the "Indian" variant was aggravated or caused by
- People returning from India in large numbers
- Said people not obeying the quarantine rules
- The Government not shutting that border immediately and doing an "Aussie" number on them.
- Airports not having a dedicated terminal for those returning
Letting thousands of people back in from a heavily infected Country was a ridiculous thing to do in my opinion especially in such an unregulated fashion.

It maybe a combination of their culture and religion or how they interpret their religion.

I know that many Muslims feel that their body is sacred which is why they will not allow organ donation as they feel it is a desecration of the body. Perhaps they use the same logic for vaccines.

Certainly many Muslims countries are vaccinating and Saudi Arabia has stated they will not allow anyone in on a pilgrimage unless they are vaccinated. And yet there is resistance and low take up in the Muslim community.
