The Yanks aren't optimistic at all for us "Unfortunately for the UK, 'no deal' - or, indeed, any of the 'hard Brexit' scenarios - is the worst situation for the future, with significant losses in terms of economic growth."

DD putting the phase 1 agreement at risk and causing the EU to "toughen up" their negotiating stance for phase 2. What a numpty. Time to go.

Edited by Kermit8 (12 Dec 2017 9.29am) I think the scenarios modelled are unlikely after last weeks agreement.

The TTFN scenario is best. (ta-taa for now). While we work out what we have signed up to and if we will be keeping to it.

Inflation figures out today highlighting the cost of Brexit plus incompetence from government plus illiterate and damaging economic policy for 7 years is really hurting living standards, especially for the least well off. We are currently still in the EU. You might as well say 'Inflation figures out today highlighting the cost of being in the EU' (Particularly the rigged high prices of EU food to enable French farmers to become even richer.)
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

It seems air fares and computer games are the reason for higher than expected inflation numbers - good news for me as my inflation number was 1.9%!
