Todays first download is a show by Nick Lowe and Renee Fleming that also features The Royal Academy of Radio Actors. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a broadcast on WGBH-HD-FM/NPR Broadcast and it sounds fantastic. I don't really know how to rate this album - it has some classic tracks in different versions as well as News from Lake Wobegon - a news podcast from a fictional town in Minnesota. This is something totally different and one thats thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at The Town Hall, New York City, New York, USA 29.11.14 - Nick Lowe With Renee Fleming (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc 1 : Disc 2 : Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 183MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) The Performers : Enjoy! This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by Klaxons over the years according to my files - just a couple of studio albums and this is only the second bootleg that I've posted. If you downloaded any of the previous downloads and like Klaxons then give this show a try... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by David Bowie that was recorded in Ottawa, Canada on the 28th August 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've lost count of the number of DB bootlegs that I've posted and this is one I thought I'd posted before, but a search of my files doesn't show it anywhere. This is a top show with some classic tracks being performed but the audio sound is crystal but low - so a little volume is needed on this one. If you like Bowie this is a top addition to the collection and is thoroughly recommended.. Here is a download link I found for :- "A Son Of The Circus" Live in Ottawa, Canada 28.8.87 - David Bowie (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Todays extra download is a set by Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks that was recorded at the Reading Festival, Reading, Berks, on the 26th August 2001. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I know nothing about them. I've had a listed and they're not bad at all. Wiki tells me that they come from Portland, Oregon and were founded in 2000 and are still going today. Stephen Malkmus was the main singer and songwriter behind the 90's band Pavement. This band are ok and well worth a listen... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the first album or bootleg by Johnny Copeland that I've posted which surprised me, but a check of my files didn't turn up anything. Johnny Copeland was born in Haynesville, Louisiana in 1937 and died in Harlem, New York in 1997 following complications after heart surgery. He released a whole stack of albums and toured extensively. If you like Johnny Copeland then grab this show.. this is thoroughly recommended... and then some! Todays second download isnt a live album - it's a John Peel Session recorded by Nick Drake at the BBC on the 5th August 1969 and was first broadcast on the 6th August 1969. This is in superb qualty and the audio for the set has been taken from the studio master tapes and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by Nick Drake - bootlegs in good quality are very rare - I only have a couple myself. This set is the only John Peel session that Nick Drake recorded. NIck suffered from depression and died from an overdose on the 25th Novermber 1974 - aged 26. If you like Nick Drake - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set Duran Duran that was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London on the 16th November 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted lots of shows by DD over the years and if you think this one is familiar, it's because it has been posted before - a long time back now. I was recently asked for this particular show, so I decided to repost it... If you like Duran Duran then grab this one - it's very unlikely I will ever post it again. Here is a download link I found for :- "Easily Embraced The World" Live Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK 16.11.82 - Duran Duran (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Rio Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 124MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!
