You don't like facing reality. You demonstrate that regularly.

The only peace will come when one side is forced into it.

Who has suggested otherwise? We are now seeing a glimmer of reality.

The USA forcing Israel and the Arab world forcing Hamas.

We could now be at the point where the pressure becomes intense.

Clearly there are interests beyond that of Israel and Hamas.
Certainly there will be concerns about escalation and the world looking in as children are being slaughtered.

Pressure to end the conflict has existed from the start, but there can never be a lasting peace between two tribes who are so diametrically opposed.

No, but as the Hamas “tribe” extends well beyond Gaza and Hamas it is pointless expecting that eliminating Hamas in Gaza solves the problem. The attempt just kills thousands, destroys any remaining sympathy for Israel with many people, spreads the conflict and increases hatred.

Peace may not be possible but conflict can be contained and managed.

Well, all major conflicts that I can think of off hand ended when one side was defeated.
I believe that one branch or another of radical Islam will be attacking Israel ad infinitum, and Israel will expand and defend itself with equal dedication.

I'm not as sure as you that management will actually decrease the death toll in the long term. Equally, there is risk of escalation while Israel pursues its focused destruction of Gaza and the displacement of Gazans.

When Western governments bomb Middle Eastern countries, we are told that any refugees created as a result must be taken in by the West.

When Israel bombs Gaza, we are told that any refugees created as a result must be taken in by the West.

Funny how that works...

Nothing to do with me.....Let the Americans take them, they are paying for all the bombs.....They could resettle them all in New York.

The end game. The implementation of which started back in around 2008-9, probably about the tme of the big finanical crash. I am convinced of it.

I see it in the following stages.

1. The destablisation of Europe which began with the overthrow of Gaddafi thereby opening up Libya for the mass-movement of migrants into Europe, supported by funding of NGO's to both effect this movement and then put pressure on Governments.

2. Equating criticism of Israel with Anti-Semitism thereby creating the kind of division we see in the West now which acts by way of creating a fog/fear amongst people who might be influential due to disproportionate Jewish/Zionist funding for a range of organisations. One aspect of this has been what happened to students at top US universities who did not fall into line behind the Israel Good/Palastine bad narrative. Not only were job offers removed but they were targetted in via this....

[Link]

Which if you are as sad/fasincated by the politics of the manifestation of real power, then this was an incredible insight into the mentality at play here.

3. The campaign to see a mass movement of Palastinians relocated from both Gaza and the West Bank.

With this last part where I am not sure how it will play out. I suspect that it might not happen that quickly, because otherwise it just looks like Israel is getting its own way and they must recognize that the backlash against them is barely being kept a lid on as it it. So I reckon a very unsteady peace deal of some kind will be arrived at. And then a very high profile individual will launch a campaign, which will possibly be decried as beng Anti-Semetic, in which it is argued that the kindest thing to do for the Palestinians is to 'save' them from the barbaric Jews and pressure will then mount. It will be seen as a humanitarian program, and only undertaken because the Israelis are barbarians who cannot be reasoned with. Maybe the Middle Eastern Oil states offering to fund it, whilst not taking in anybody themselves.

Along with Israel offering Jews in Europe the chance to return to the 'safety' of their motherland in the face of all those hostile Arabs moving West.

But all of that merely speculation but suspect it will be along those lines.

This is always the direction of travel. Europe is expected to be the solution for all of Israel's problems because.....well, despite what many older people seem to think, these people don't care about them. High officials in Israel are quite open about what they want to happen.

Nationality and ownership of the land for them.....Not for you.

One of several hate sermons preached in UK mosques recently.

There is a march against antisemitism this Sunday in London. It could of course be a prime target for the psychopaths who support Hamas.

I hope it doesn't get targeted . Antisemitism is increasing in the UK, with a lot of those antisemitics being lefties, and many of those being members of the Labour Party, in spite of Starmer's declaration to rid the party of antisemitism. Let's hope the police will be in force in case the rent-a-mob tossers appear to disrupt the march.

Thankfully the pro-Palestine march is on Saturday. I see the Met are going to be handing out leaflets explaining what can and what can't be chanted. Even though there will be threats of arrest, I can't see that working, they'll still spout their vile and the police will not act.

Rain is forecast for London tomorrow. Good, I am sure a large bunch of those marching who couldn't point on a map where Palestine is need a bloody good shower...

It's very interesting how many on the right are now perfectly happy to weaponise the accusation of anti-semitism, after years of criticising the left's similar approach to accusing people of racism.

You say this on the day that the BBC bans Jewish staff from marching against anti-Semitism.
