Chinatown I guess for the greater good we should vaccinate these folk. And the next article is highlighting the rise in COVID cases, you really could not make this up.

I have been asked to help out on a pop up vaccine stall in Penge high street but I decided against it as I suspected it might get chaotic (Hasn't happened yet). For the greater good we do need to vaccinated the undocumented but maybe this needs to be done at Mass vaccination centres where they handle the crowds.

"Germany sets European record with one million Covid vaccine injections in a day. Only the US, China and India, with their much larger populations, have administered more shots in a day". Germany's covid death rate per million is still more than 40% lower than that of the UK and remains to stay at that level thankfully to their early management of the pandemic last year. That's the real perspective. Edited by Orange1290 (27 May 2021 8.23am) Germany had the tests and the industry to produce them. We didn’t.

In a pandemic, it's deaths that count, nothing else, no point in vaccinating a lot if you're killing a lot. The headlines look good but it doesn't bring back a disproportionate number of dead people back to life. What? And the rare times I turn on the news in the tv the bbc or itv drone in about ‘’cases rising with the Indian variant but deaths aren’t or keep falling.’’ If it was delivered in the voice of the producer of the news you couldn’t hear the disappointment. This bollox needs to stop and I’m looking forward to hopefully the ditching of masks in most places id rather be in after 21st June.

Had my first jab at a little pharmacy today and they were still churning people in and out at an impressive pace despite only 1 nurse doing Pfizer and the other AZ second doses. Really impressive operation. Mega respect for volunteering by the way!

We need to put certain things aside to get the job done. At this stage, considering the effectiveness of the jab, it's a no brainer to get as wide coverage as is possible. Thanks for your efforts.

The big 'doubt' about 'opening' on 21st June is yet another sneaky trick being played on the population. The government is building this doubt and now endless discussions but I'm very sure that miraculously they'll then give the green light for 21 June, maybe with a compromise or two to make it look like a realistic 'issue'. Everyone will then be in a euphoric mood, praising Johnson for making the deadline against all the odds with the impending Indian variant. It's all a show for the gullible and a pretty obvious manipulation of the masses.

I saw an article the other day the majority of new infections (I don't mean hospitalisations) are the under 30's. The sooner we get them vaccinated the better. This week I have been inundated with requests to volunteer at various centres this is a good sign that we are ramping up the vaccination program again hopefully we have enough of it to get the job done. The last few weeks have been too quiet. On that note I am off to help out in Penge.

Wherever this originated, another reason we should have closed the borders and banned all travel.
