'Statutory alignment'.....appears to be a device to avoid a border between NI (UK) and Ireland and yet.....unlike other countries in the EU.....be able to make deals with countries outside the EU. A kind of bit of both......that might be a very good outcome. My limit on the money was 35 billion....so...just a little over. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Dec 2017 1.55am)

Deflection. What is a ‘Corbyn Brexit’? Seeing as neither he or Mumbly Kier seem to know, nor most/all of the Shadow Cabinet, in fact you might think they were making up Brexit policy as they go along, I would be delighted if you enlighten me on the ‘facts’ of his position and how it would differ from government policy. Thanks in advance. Edited by matt_himself (09 Dec 2017 5.45am)

Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Dec 2017 1.55am) As long as we leave, I am happy. No to a federal superstate, that is the most important thing.

^^^^^ Cameron's deal below with the EU 19 months ago which was dismissed out of hand by Brexiteers as 'nothing'. "It is recognised that the United Kingdom, in the light of the specific situation it has under the Treaties, is not committed to further political integration into the European Union. The substance of this will be incorporated into the Treaties at the time of their next revision in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Treaties and the respective constitutional requirements of the Member States, so as to make it clear that the references to ever closer union do not apply to the United Kingdom. So why exactly are we leaving again?
