Pepe, Ziyech, Diallo or Cornet are all left footed right wingers who could do a job for a year, and all probably available. Of those only Ziyech could perhaps claim to be as good a player, and even then we'd be replacing a young, hungry talent who is trying to prove himself with one who, like Benteke, Sakho, PVA, Cabeye etc before him, is stepping down to a club of a lower level than he is used to and, on top of that, has no stake in the club as he isn't here permanently. Would a loan winger from a big club really roll his sleeves up if we get into a relegation scrap? Plus the difference in wages is significant. For me, and notwithstanding a ridiculous offer, we should keep Olise. Even if he is at peak value right now, the impact of losing Olise and Zaha at once will be too great, and not offset by short term loans. Edited by TheBigToePunt (02 Aug 2023 1.48pm)

What has any of this got to do with Mystic Dazza's predictions. Might as well close the rest of the forum and just use this one thread for everything as that's what seems to be happening anyway

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Rak-Sakyi will end up being better than Olise, without a doubt, his temperament is better, Olise just sees Palace as a stepping stone, and i dont think all players do. No chance, made his first team debut two years ago now, if it was going to happen big time at premier league level it would’ve happened by now and he wouldn’t have been sent to Charlton for a year and we wouldn’t be considering sending him to Leicester

It was clear that Olise was a top player in the making the first time he stepped on the pitch for us. His technique is unbelievable and he has that self belief that you need to reach the top. JRS might end up being a top player for us, but he just doesn't look in the same class at the moment and he's only a year younger. It's not fair to compare the two. I agree that if we get a crazy offer of say 70m+ and he wants to leave then we should accept as that is a good price, but we shouldn't accept a significantly lower fee and if he wants to stay I'd say stick the money. I want to see the likes of Eze and Olise at Palace, not a pile of cash and slightly inferior players.

Not to mention the complaints that this somehow makes Dazza 'special' as he has his own thread. Other threads are available (and being used) in Transfer Talk for

Other threads are available (and being used) in Transfer Talk for I certainly never asked for there to be a specific Dazza thread. And again, for the record I'm neither in the for or against Dazza being ITK. But seriously can you not see that there being an eighty odd page thread of mixed up transfer news that is being defended by mods makes a mockery of the rules mods ask others to follow and makes trying to catch up on the transfer news difficult. Perhaps the answer is to have a thread simply titled "Dazza's News" which people can read/avoid as they choose.

That was probably the theory behind this thread, however is flawed as posters will naturally want to answer/respond on it, thus creating a duplicate of threads elsewhere. Only way I could see it working is if there was a separate thread for Dazza to post his news on which is locked to responses other than him.

It’s the close season and transfer month so what would be ok to post on a latest news thread.
