According to a French reporter on newsnow we have had a bid of 22 mill turned down for Sarr. No a non scoring Benteke is not worth 7 mill .

There can’t be much chance of getting Sarr short of £25-30 million,. Sarr is not just a promising Championship performer, but has real form in the Premier division.

Yes i agree with you there , 25-30 million seems about right maybe 25 with 5 in add ons , it was prob 15 million with 7 million add ons with some unrealistic ones like winning the champions league and man landing on the dark side of the moon . You never know though .

I don’t get the Sarr interest. I know he can play across the front 3, so that’s a positive. But he has looked a better player on the right. We have Olise and cover on the right. We need to cut our losses on Edouard…I don’t think he has the athleticism for the Prem. I’d like to see a left sided player brought in. If we do sign Sarr, I still consider him a very good player and well worth having in the squad.

Agree there. McArthur alongside Wilf has been my no.1 Palace player for some time now, massive fan, but I question whether he has got much longer in him. I think in prime he'd of been perfect with Doucoure. If Sarr was to be the only incoming, I'd hope that the rest of season is spent on some serious research of a RB, partner for Doucoure and a first team striker.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

We have more interest in Moriba & Gallagher, palace confident they can still get Gallagher on another loan I think this will go to the wire.

As I said before we are in for AWB also but if we do get get him for the 10m that the press is saying it’s a steal. Utd are under pressure though so May cave in, I was told a loan with option/obligation to buy £15m.

Also, I would love it to happen, but Gallagher has come off the bench in both of Chelsea's games so is he really going to want to move unless he's pushed out? I would say, like most, that perhaps midfield is the most pressing area of the pitch to strengthen. I also thought AWB was unlikely, but with Ferguson seemingly out now, Ward playing a role at centre-back and Clyne getting on in years maybe it might happen after all.
