Honestly - they have a coach for throw ins? We don't seem to practice any set-pieces.
Sack the board if we don't have a throw in coach. We want a throw-in coach. We want a throw-in coach!

Roy is averaging close to 1.3 points per game with Palace. Compare that to Howe at Bournemouth (1.1) or Dyche at Burnley (1.1) and you can see how good a job he is doing since those clubs resources are at least comparable to us. A few people mention we apparently have the 9th highest wage bill, but that doesn't necessarily mean we have the 9th best squad. We have an imbalanced squad and are wasting fortunes on the likes of Benteke (shot) and Sakho (rarely fit). That's not Roy's fault.

An interesting concept. To be eligible for a spot would mean winning games to climb the league. To win games you need to score goals. We are currently the lowest scorers.
Conclusion: unlikely.

That was when we were relying on Ayew and Benteke and everyone else was injured. Tosun IS a goalscorer like it or not (despite the chance he missed last night) and Wickham will also score goals if he stays fit.
We are the amongst the lowest goal scorers. What cancels that out is we are also conceding the fewest.

Your post is based on conjecture and hope, not fact, that is for future games to prove. We shall see.

Our current league position flatters us beyond belief. Hopefully what will save us from relegation this year is three worse teams. However having said that, given that there aren’t three worse teams than us, perhaps three less lucky teams will save us.

When you look at Villa Norwich, Burnley, Brighton, Watford, Southampton, Newcastle Bournemouth and West Ham I can’t find 3 teams worse than us and the worrying stat is that they are all starting to win matches. 38 points won’t be enough this year. 40 points is the minimum.

Of those teams only maybe West Ham has a stronger 11 than our, but only slightly.
Go on the forums of all teams, write down our best 11 and ask them if they would keep their team or swap it.

I tell you what, you do it and let me know how it goes. It doesn’t matter how good your 11 are if they are not allowed past the half way line.

We won't be anywhere near relegation. We'll be 10 points clear, minimum. Trust me!

Bollux. PVA scores goals, Schlupp has scored a few. Tompkins has scored, Jimmy Mac has scored, Chahill laid on a goal at City and Kouyate has scored AND they are all defenders. .

We have the man who got Harry Kane to take corners.

Saturday was our first goal from a corner.
Southampton away was our first goal from an indirect free kick.

If your struggling for goals, surely you have to get your set pieces nailed on?
