Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

That's my point from a different direction. I don't think the owners particularly care either way if the fans enjoy the experience or not as long as they put their money down and bums on seats. There is little doubt that there is a view upstairs that the Lower Holmesdale gives the " brand " something of a selling point and is often mentioned in commentary, more so than the "noisiest sections" of other grounds. I enjoy the atmosphere the Lower Holmesdale creates but don't think it's fair to move the Block E guys.

In the end that seems to be agreed by almost everyone. Could have been done in a more modular way, or with some clear structure in place, or with better communication and consultation, or a thousand different things. Just not this way.

Apart from being unworkable, how does someone qualify ? Perhaps there'll be auditions and/or a test on your knowledge of the current repertoire? Maybe you'll need to compose a new song for consideration or demonstrate that you can jump up and down for 90 minutes? There may even be questions on the purchase, concealment and use of pyrotechnics. That 'announcement' raises more questions than it answers. Assuming there are still places available, it isn't a "waiting list", its a list of applicants; the former presupposes that there are currently no places available. I thought that, rather than being "anticipated", places were very definitely limited to 400, less the 150 allocated to the HF. I'd be interested to know if anyone that applies is actually allocated a seat.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Someone at the open day said everyone should apply but priority would be given if you've had a ticket in a previous singing section, like at Wembley or cup games. Which would make more sense

After 88 pages don't you think enough has been said on this subject, The changes are going to be made and some are going to lose there seat, that's a fact That's an end to it, Nothing anyone can say to change that so cant we archive this thread please, I am not in the Holmesdale but will welcome the return of the fanatics. I am sure those who have to move will be well compensated and placed in a very nice seating area elsewhere Edited by Medway Eagle (29 Nov 2018 12.13pm) Edited by Medway Eagle (29 Nov 2018 12.13pm)
