No one ever wanted equality. They want power.

There is only power, those who hold it and those that don't......Most instances of 'equality' are subjectively in the eye of the beholder.

Equality is and has always been a buzzword to placate and convince. It doesn't exist in the natural world and its only use is as an guide for appropriate legal situations.

It has been used to disenfranchise the indigenous people of this land in a way that wouldn't and hasn't been accepted in other lands.

Agree. It’s a shame because I’m all for opening up opportunities on merit. This is all going too far and too fast before anything important or effective changes for black people that actually improves their lives. That of course comes a bit later but people are going off this now.

Systems of servitude and slavery were common in parts of Africa in ancient times, as they were in much of the rest of the ancient world. So basically the white Europeans were using an existing and well-established supply system already set up by the African black population. Who's more guilty? - the white man who buys a black man, or the black man who sells another black man?
