This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Is RLC injured? He isn't in the matchday squad for Community Shield That may mean they are hoping to shift him as part of a Wilf deal. Or it could mean that he is the third Chelsea manager not to rank him that highly. I have to say a few good games with us and a middling performance at the WC don't get me drooling. He did seem to be getting on same wave length as Zaha but he is nowhere near the same class

Only ridiculous media speculation that Wilf is prepared to hand in a transfer request to get his move to Chelsea. Stop the Fascination with Bolasie. Bang average player! We have moved on

£75m is nowhere near enough considering the financial costs of relegation which is far more likely without Wilf. We would sell if cash flow were a business threat but it seems to be under control and if you really need the cash for the stadium you could always sell next summer or more likely the summer after the construction bills have to finally settled. A deal with £150m with about £100m cash and RLC, Tammy Abrahams and a couple of other Chelsea young prospects would be tempting I am sure - but I don't think Chelsea are going to do that Wilf is worth more to us than he is to anyone else - that is the reason he will stay especially as he is happy here If he continues to improve then other clubs valuations will start to increase and get closer to ours. In the meantime we need a better squad capable of mid table without him. Don’t see the point building an arena if the main star ain’t on the bill.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

IMO Wilf will be sold come Thursday... There's a whole load of people in who's opinion God exists; they're wrong, but it doesn't stop them believing it.

we havnt spent a hell of a lot of money, we have outlayed £10m this pre-season which is peanuts in PL terms. i see it the other way, we have purposley been very shrewd to ensure we dont need to sell wilf this summer. Quite so.

Stop the Fascination with Bolasie. Bang average player! We have moved on Bit of a sidetrack but Bolasie was not a bang average player for us, he was great. Agree we don't need him back at the moment, but give him his due. On topic, surely time to stop the hand-wringing and nonsense speculation? He's going nowhere right now. We are the Palace, Wilf is the king. Love live Zaha!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Surely it just boils down to what chelsea do in the transfer market. If they do lose Hazard/Willian then we should start worrying. But also, the club has to start thinking of moving on from Wilf. We need to start planning for next season or the season after because Wilf won’t be here for ever and I would love to see him go on and win leagues/champion leagues.

Completely agree on what you’ve said and your opinion too. Even if this extra £14 mil to Meyer is true which takes his pay up to £170k per week, it sounds as if it’s staggered, just like transfers are I suppose, but I’m not sure how much is considered wages tbh. All of it should be imo but I may be wrong.
