I have family in NI, they are proud to be British. They aren't fond of the EU at all. And one thing they know for certain is that many remainers prefer the Irish and the EU to them.

Unionism isn't a 'progressive' minority. The Northern Irish unionists are as British as you are.

People who supposedly support self determination, should support them. We found out just how far the EU's supporters actually care about that with the events in Spain....It is fine...as long as the wind blows in their direction for a lot of them.

I support self determination whether it suits me or not....whether it is in Spain or Northern Ireland.

It's the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain, it's part of Ireland. It' just in the UK.
