Looks like the UK has conceded yet again to EU demands as NI will remain in the Customs Union. The next of many u-turns will be for the rest of the UK to concede and remain within the Customs Union. Candy from a baby for the EU 27.

I see only 3 courses of action: 1. bend over and give the EU all it wants just to leave (and I'm not sure what the UK gets from that deal) 2. tell the EU to do one, and just go for a hard Brexit on a point of principle (I would like to see us pay whatever we actually owe even in this eventuality, but not a penny more, and we can stop negotiations right now). If the EU then insists on a hard border between the two Irelands, that's their problem 3. Decide not to continue with Brexit at all, but retain all our veto rights and be much more of a selfish pain in the @rse going forward - agree to NOTHING not directly in our interests (tough to sell to the electorate)

Never mind remainers,I see that paragon of virtue and truth...Tony Blair is now trying to reverse brexit, saying the leavers were not truthful. Ha ha ha you couldn't make it up...the biggestnnlying c*** this country has seen for years,with countless blood of dead soldiers and civilians on his hands.

It certainly looks bad for you when Blair is calling you a liar with a straight face.

Regardless of your opinions on immigration etc. I can't be the only one who feels a small sense of sadness at the prospect of a border between Ireland and the UK. Even if it only ends up being between the Republic and the rest. Call me a remoaning snowflake but I love that country. Edited by Mstrobez (04 Dec 2017 6.19pm)
