IMO Wilf will be sold come Thursday and if it's to Chelsea my guess is that it will involve either Drinkwater or RLC coming the other way possibly loan or purchase. I obviously don't want to lose Wilf but to me everything points to it and the biggest one being that we are spending one hell of a load of money at the moment and with potentially even more being outplayed before Thursday. By not making it public about him earmarked to go, we don't see any purchase prices being inflated. Hope I am wrong!
If ever a player is worth £70M, he is and if he goes the best of luck to him, he has been a tremendous servant and dug us out of a few very deep holes.

Dont think so. We have strengthened our midfield already after losing Cabaye and in the event that we don't get RLC on loan again. And we haven't "spent big". If such a move was on the cards involving Wilf we would be spending big on a replacement ....if there is such a thing ..... irreplaceable for me !

I don’t want Wilf to leave but if we can get Chelsea to agree a deal for RLC and cash for Wilf, then I feel this will be a good deal for Palace and help the club move forward.
Wilf has been fantastic for us, so we unfortunately have to recognise that Wilf wants to go to a top 6 club and achieve his ambitions of playing Champions League football.
Hope he gets his chance in the first team at Chelsea and is not a repeat of what happened to him at Man Utd !!!!! ???
If he does leave may be Yannick Bolasie could come back to Palace and revive his career for us on the Wing ???
I hope though that Wilf stays for another season and support this exciting new Palace team.

Absolutely right, Brauny. Completely agree.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Here we go again. This is more about the bloody Mirror Group refusing to be proven wrong yet again so they pull out the Garth Crooks 75 million nonsense. They're also rumoured to be signing Aaron Ramsey beating out Liverpool and that one is being treated with more credibility. For the final time, When the window closes Wilfried Zaha will be what he is now, a player for Crystal Palace FC wearing the Number 11 shirt. As for the Daily & Sunday Mirror, they can go hang!

Is the correct answer.

Are people really so gullible these days to still believe newspaper gossip? Staggering. Funny how the newspaper has exactly the same number of pages in it every day, regardless of how much news there is.

I agree,Chelsea manager Sari is very confident Willien will stay which means no room for Wilf at the bridge.

The press want Wilf to be sold so they have a story to write about.

Also lots of media talk today Spurs have gone cold due to the asking price

Does he?

The only places I’ve ever seen this reported is in tabloid articles that have turned out to be bull***t or pure speculation.

Totally agree. Also no guarantee Chelsea will be in the CL next season and they're not in it this season. Man City only dead certs to finish top 4 IMO.

He's not going anywhere. People are getting too paranoid about this whole situation, to be honest.

Only ridiculous media speculation that Wilf is prepared to hand in a transfer request to get his move to Chelsea.
Should he do so,which appears unlikely, then perhaps RLC and cash + Bolasie back may help to soften the blow.
