The rumour mills seem to point towards a new Main Stand. Fingers crossed for Monday.

^^ That would make sense, as the safety certificate is on borrowed time.
But the new main stand has to be part of a whole stadium renovation (probably stand-by-stand), so it will be interesting to see how this is going to pan-out

Haaahaaa. What are you some sort of insider. If you are then you are on very thin ice posting here.

Apparently it is Monday. Chap at a large national paper has said as much to me.

Yes, exactly. Only the Holmesdale to a certain degree is "fit as is" assuming the leak in the roofs will be fixed.
A main stand renovation "Liverpool style" is what many of us would expect I'd imagine. Be interesting if work is scheduled to start next summer and if it is going to go ahead even if we were to go down. Assume part of the plans will be depending on us staying with the moneys.

A glass exterior ala the old jelly mould? That would be fantastic. Just as long as it doesn't end up looking like an ad for Everest Windows, lol. All we need is more capacity. Tickets are becoming like hens teeth with gaps in the unsold away section.

Ultimately we will struggle to create anything like spurs or Chelsea at Selhurst. The infrastructure is just not there. Parking trains etc.
But it seems most fans want to stay there.
The choice is move to the M25 on the Gatwick line and build something special with Chinese money or stay put in a building site for the next ten years.
Or Crystal Palace but with similar infrastructure issues

Let's be honest, our current site has nothing going for it. It might as well be called $hitehole Park. We're living in the dark ages ... parking is awful, getting away is usually painful, east/west access is inconvenient at best. Let's leave the place to the rodents and relocate elsewhere. Our surroundings do not create the atmosphere it's our fans that do it. We deserve better!
