Daily Telegraph - that scaremongering leftie rag "Britain must accept higher levels of immigration from India if it hopes to sign a free trade agreement after Brexit, a senior Indian diplomat has warned, as he predicted it could take up to a decade to secure the deal. YK Sinha, India’s High Commissioner to the UK, said "freer movement of people and professionals" had to form part of any future deal to ensure it was “mutually beneficial.” Speaking to Indian business leaders in London, Mr Sinha said he was “very confident” that a “winning partnership” between the two countries would emerge after Britain's departure from the EU. However, he also warned that signing a free trade agreement was “obviously not going to be easy” and suggested that the deal may not be complete until 2030.

26% CT is still low, and evidence shows that it would not have any impact on corporate investment or activity. Just look at the ridiculously low level of corporate investment we've had for years, despite one of the lowest CT rates in the G20. It also hasn't led to increased wages in the economy, in fact the opposite. It's actually increased the flow of wealth to the richest and OUT of the UK, to foreign shareholders and asset owners. Investment in the economy, in skills and education and in infrastructure will have a much more pronounced positive effect than any change in tax rates.

David Davis looking like a right prat this morning. It seems after almost 18 months he actually hasn't done the homework he said he had. This government and it's Brexit strategy is looking more and more shambolic with each passing day. It's an embarrassment. These 58 sector analyses are really not going to be that sensitive. The EU knows that most UK industries don't want to leave the single market, they don't need Davis to tell them that. The government's lack of direction or competence is doing much more to harm our negotiating stance than proof that they've been doing research into the impact of Brexit. Woeful.

I am fascinated and want to know what he is hiding. Obviously if its unimportant why is he 'redacting' this stuff at all? 'Contemptible' Davis, think he will wriggle successfully but a big mark against his credibility. Acute brementia.

The EU vote thread will survive all obstacles. Unlike brexit. The IFS tell us we have another 16 years of austerity not 4 as the government say but there will still be a need for this thread thank God. If you put 'EU' somewhere in your post it should be ok. So put Prince Harry and Meghan EU at loggerheads over brexit that's a good one.
