A fine example of a non-political police force. Rape cases , and others stockpiling for years.
Get a bit of rioting, and all of a sudden people are fast-tracked through the court system.
Yet another Government, not listening to the people.

He certainly talks more sense than many do on this subject.

Being concerned about high levels of immigration is not an excuse to riot, but it is legitimate to ask the question and receive both answers and reassurances about the impact.

Those reassurances need to include the way we will protect our culture and heritage and not tolerate those who fail to respect it. We haven’t done nearly enough in this area. I have described many times what I would do.

I think some of those involved in the disturbances are simply groups who feel, rightly or wrongly, that they have been forgotten, ignored and consequently are disadvantaged. Seeking a scapegoat they turn on immigrants, especially those arriving illegally seeking asylum, especially when encouraged by influencers spreading misinformation.

The truth is that many of them have much more in common with those they are targeting than others whose family history has long been British. The disadvantaged and marginalised should form a common front and agitate, peacefully, for recognition.

This is what others have been saying for days. No one has condoned any violence, just tried to understand why it might have happened.
Peaceful agitation is, of course, the ideal but that's been tried for decades and now we're seeing the anger which has resulted from it not working.

Let's just hope that they crack down on the so called bowls clubs.

why the riots ?

- the wave of refugee & islamist violence seems to be endless, and getting worse. More kids just got stabbed.

If our Government knew, for certain, that a city would burn everytime a dozen kids got stabbed, then maybe they would be slightly less blasee about it.

Both the Dublin and the Southport Child stabbers were known for carrying knives......and let off to stab again.
