He's basically saying what we already know and have known for some time. What a nice guy he is. Has such charity and kindness in his soul. Exactly the kind of guy gullible idiots should be listening to before they go out to confront our police and trash our high streets. That anyone here even reads this stuff, let alone references it, is really shameful and revealing.

He was certainly angry. If nothing happens here this is yet another example of how the law gets applied differently depending on who you are. If a Journalist had grabbed hold of his folder and dropped it to the ground would that be deemed acceptable? Rowley is out of order. He’s probably been told to do something which he doesn’t agree with. Maybe he’s been told to protect Muslim areas as a priority and use minimal manpower against the rioters, with Starmer hoping that the arrests will see a reduction in further trouble.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

A fine example of a non-political police force. Rape cases , and others stockpiling for years. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (05 Aug 2024 7.45pm)

He certainly talks more sense than many do on this subject. Being concerned about high levels of immigration is not an excuse to riot, but it is legitimate to ask the question and receive both answers and reassurances about the impact. Those reassurances need to include the way we will protect our culture and heritage and not tolerate those who fail to respect it. We haven’t done nearly enough in this area. I have described many times what I would do. I think some of those involved in the disturbances are simply groups who feel, rightly or wrongly, that they have been forgotten, ignored and consequently are disadvantaged. Seeking a scapegoat they turn on immigrants, especially those arriving illegally seeking asylum, especially when encouraged by influencers spreading misinformation. The truth is that many of them have much more in common with those they are targeting than others whose family history has long been British. The disadvantaged and marginalised should form a common front and agitate, peacefully, for recognition.

I’ve changed my mind; he’s been told to get his men down to the Tamar to prevent Wisbech from being inconvenienced by the fracas in Plymouth…

No one has condoned any violence, just tried to understand why it might have happened.

You can't bring up a debate about immigration without being accused of being a racist or "far right" and being shut down immediately. This is massive contributing factor in the riots and people feel like they are left with no other option.

More kids just got stabbed. If our Government knew, for certain, that a city would burn everytime a dozen kids got stabbed, then maybe they would be slightly less blasee about it. Both the Dublin and the Southport Child stabbers were known for carrying knives......and let off to stab again. T0.sser Elites not doing their jobs. No apologies at all from me. Next time a kid is murdered , i will feel like Rioting.

It's certainly true that someone like yourself wouldn't agree with an educated person like Dutton. However, that doesn't mean it's alright to spread a lot of commie takes on him. I mean you claim you're not left wing yet near exclusively use far left sites and opinion pieces. You literally post the first link, which I started to read and literally see inaccurate and half truths presented as facts. And then you present a second link.....literally a 'Hope Not Hate' website.....An organisation that literally has communists working for it. To the reader I would ask you recognise that instead of dealing with the detail of what Dutton says this poster uses pure deflection tactics and just poisons the well with personal attacks from his far left detractors.
