I have a lot of time for Rak-Sakai, but he isn’t Olise, . He hasn’t got a magic left foot for a start, and partly because of that he does not contribute assists like Olise does. Even Olises defensive work is much superior .
Makes it sound like Rak-Sakai, is not a decent prospect, he is is . But Olise, is a bit special.

I think Rak-Sakyi stands out as the 'best bet' from the youth setup simply because he produced far more tangible results (i.e. goals) in his loan spell than most young attackers manage.

At the same time, football history is full of lads who were the best thing since sliced bread at different stages of their youth and early pro careers, but who didn't become top-class first-team players at their clubs. Some develop very early and get caught up, others develop very late and surprise everyone.

Even with his excellent loan spell at Charlton under his belt, we just don't know how good Rak-Sakyi will be in the end.

The report suggested Palace have put a loan move to Ipswich on ice in case they need Rak-Sakyi to play in place of the injured Olise. For some the key part of that will be that RS could get to play. For me, the key part is that Palace were looking to loan him out. If true, that probably tells us where the club think he is in terms of development.
