We are fortunate to have the calibre of Roy as a manager.
Imagine having the highly acclaimed Potter( at least by Moyes) in charge!!

We are an established premier division side in the best league in the world. A decade or so ago the league was easy pickings for the only two elite managers operating in the division, now its the packed with global superstars in terms of both managers and players.

Whilst people respect Roy, in terms of employers for potential managers, we are probably in the top 30 best opportunities on the planet.

Just because clubs like Brighton, West Ham, and Watford make terrible recruitment decision doesn't mean we should not seek the very best as replacement.

The problem I have with this is that the same people that want Roy out were clamouring for us to be more like Watford, Bournemouth, even Brighton and so on going back since we started. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and can prove anything. The fact is we are having our most successful spell ever and Roy and also Steve Parish have been an integral part of that.
Even the richest clubs in the world cannot get the manager right and when Roy moves on, the odds of us staying in the prem drop considerably.
Of course we can accept this risk in the hope of 'more progressive' football now or we build towards a better chance of a long term future.
I would love to see the club doing much more in developing our future but it seems most of our resources are taken with the race to keep a team good enough to match the others in the league.

3-0 down against 10 men.

There's a defensive midfielder at centre back, an attacking midfielder on the left wing, a left back on the right wing, a winger up front.

Seemingly impossible for the favourites to be dropped.

How are you going to defend this c*** this week?

Something has to change and soon. We’re in big trouble. I’m always pessimistic but things really do not look good or like changing anytime soon.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I hate to admit it, but, now i am firmly in the OUT camp.

Sorry, he has to go, id rather be relegated & be able(covid/govt) willing to watch us PLAY football & win more than we surrender.

Fcuked off dont get close.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Devoid of any ideas. Painfully slow to react. So predictable. But next week - guess what ......more of the f*****g same!

Keep persevering with a formation that doesn’t work, a defender who can’t run, wingers who have to come inside EVERY time they break forward and a midfield devoid of any ideas.
The most frustrating brand of football I’ve ever seen at the Palace and with the quality available this makes NO my blood boil.

Honestly today HAS to be the final straw!

Thanks Roy - but time for a change before we get dragged into a relegation battle and give up any hope of a cup run. Got to go.

Once players give up on a manger, there is no way to get it back.

Our goal differential is one better than Fulham, who are an obvious relegation side.

Leicester will destroy us. Sheffield have to be looking at us as their easiest chance at 3 points.
