The ULEZ extension widens the tax on dirty air and should be welcomed. Ultimately, we should be moving towards a full road-pricing system that accounts for the social and environmental costs of driving. Ulez may not be perfect, but it is a step in the right direction towards making the polluter pay. Sunak and Starmer just a couple of snake-oil salesmen, shabby opportunists with no policies except to chase the next vote. I'm sure its implementation will be smooth, not at all costly, or at all likely to be a debacle. Khan is just so competent - his record on everything else he promised does nothing except back that up. This won't rile up voters whatsoever. Everyone loves a green tax. London is so bad it's become like the smog the Limehouse Golem used to hide in. Real pea soupers. Khan to the rescue once again. Like St George killing the Dragon - an analogy I'm sure Khan would be proud of.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Yup I hear the pollution in villages such as Chelsfield and Downe is terrible. Still not to worry the public transport is excellent.
