You say I shouldn't second guess Mueller and then the tone of your post shows you've decided it yourself.

My reasoning is based purely on common sense..
..one that these things would always get leaked...and that the length of time and amount of money spent on this already....and the result....A lot of hot air.

If he had been guilty of provable collusion the leaks would have been amongst us long ago.....these claims are pretty old. This guy's team has hardly been noted for being unbiased.....if there was anything significant that was worthy of impeachment this would be known by now.

I regard the whole episode as ridiculous and all just a semi on ride for democrats and those republicans who hate Trump.

If you think that indictments aren't coming down the line for family, the likes of Kushner or Trump jr then you had better reach for the popcorn. He's working his way up the chain because that's how serious investigations work.

Of course once that happens, we'll just get 'it's a witch hunt' style talk instead. But 'common sense' tells us that it will happen, and in all likelihood we won't have to wait that long for it.

Mueller has already got a plea deal from Flynn and indictments against Trump's campaign manager and deputy campaign manager.

The additional conviction of Papadopoulos is not insignificant in that he was - despite misdirection to the contrary - heavily engaged in the campaign and also, as we now know, the catalyst for the whole FBI investigation. Back in 2016, he got drunk in a London pub and started spouting off about the campaign having email dirt on Clinton. An Australian diplomat overheard him and the Aussies dropped a dime on him to their US counterparts and the FBI was put on the case.

Of course it's a witch hunt.....talking to the Russians! Wow....The amount of s***e that politicians get up to...and you take this seriously.

Trump is going nowhere from this.....and that's called common sense.

The good thing is that time will show which of us had better judgement on this matter.

Where there's potential interference by unelected citizens working with foreign powers, I am relieved that the investigation roll on. That the Mueller investigation has not yet been defanged, despite successes in doing so with the other investigations, should be a relief to both republicans and democrats interested in preserving the rule of law and democratic processes.

Getting - or attempting to get - something of value (opposition research) from a foreign power is against the law. Don Jr. has already admitted to doing this by his own voluntary disclosures, dragging Kushner and Manafort along with him.

Crimes have been committed; charges brought and convictions handed down. All of this adds up to this being the very opposite of a witch hunt.

It's important to add that the possibility that much of this happened while they were private citizens is what is important. If, in that position you are found to have a dubious amount of connections to hacked documents about an opponent and work to use or spread this, or engage in online propaganda strategies with a foreign government that indeed is very serious. Or if you receive something or offer something in exchange for 'help' from a foreign government. All of these are angles that Mueller is obviously investigating. This is being called 'Stupid Watergate' for a reason. He has so far been no shortage of reasons to indict and when those at the centre of this are found to be repeatedly lying until something new comes out, it doesn't do their cause much good.

It's precisely what a witch hunt is. Nothing that has been done there is of any significance at all....it's a joke in a world where Clinton had that email server and was then cleared....an absolute joke and a witch hunt.

A load of money throw at one aim....taking Trump out....a act against democracy that would lead to serious repercussions. You're just an unknown cheerleader for that aim.

You stated on here that Trump will go. I've said he won't. I'm going to enjoy watching your hubris laid bare.

I'm going to watch with interest the continued activity of the Mueller investigation. I don't give a f*** what you do.

We Americans are kind of funny about foreign powers trying to influence our elections, especially when they hack into our files. I would remind all and sundry that the Watergate investigations lasted over two years. This has been going on for less than one.

Well it's a witch hunt of course and so even if Trump steps down or is impeached whatever is unearthed will be deemed irrelevant anyway. You're laying the groundwork.

Clinton Email server issue ? your kidding me right ? What about Governor scott, who when petitioned via the correct channels to release his emails of the previous 3 1/2 years, the backups had magically disappeared ?
Then there have been multiple senators found to be using private email servers also, yet we still concentrate on Clinton, despite all those emails being able to be viewed by the FBI, who found only that she was pretty dumb to use a private server, and nothing else.

Bannon, reportedly, has said it right, treason has been committed, and the real sh!t is close to hitting the fan. Get ready for a war with North Korea, because thats what presidents do when things go south for them.

And just how democratic an election was it ? when so much fake news was thrown out there in the weeks leading upto the election, including the FBI flub that probably cost Clinton the presidency.

And to continue, many of the guys i work with are pretty hard core republics. They hated Obama with passion.
They voted trump, and were so happy and surprised when he won.
But all but 1 of them feel he is guilty of dealing with the Russians and probably will not and should not survive the eventual fallout. They maybe hardcore republicans, but they are Americans, and the word "Russian" is still a dirty word for them.

Pence is not a bad guy, at lease i can just disagree with his policies but i dont think i can doubt his patriotism, or statesmanship.
