Its better than your Sein Fein Norn Iron post. Seriously the nationalists hate the British in any case so not really a big issue, we'll be dealing with the Irish government not the IRA.

I don't think either side of the Northern Ireland / Ireland border want a hard border. Is it an inevitably ?

Ireland is but a minor glitch. Germany are the problem. They have serious issues.

Apparently, the Sun editorial tells the Irish prime minister to 'shut his gob'

Always at the forefront of international relations that lot.

Well it isn't out of the question that with a no deal Hard Brexit and a hard border, which will undermine The Good Friday Agreement, and with it ensuing volatility, that troops will have to be re-stationed back to NI. And we all know what happens next.

That is no minor glitch.

Blimey, do you think this could lead to World War 3 - bloody Brexit!

It is. The CTA is nothing to do with the EU and nothing will change in Ireland.

I see you ignored the real point, that Germany do not have a government at present and might have to have another election.

Seeing as May has been labelled all sorts for choosing to call one, I wonder what Merkel will be labelled if she is forced to endure another one? One that will probably weaken her party even more.

Macron chose to use the phrase that he would like to see a "strong and stable" Germany. You couldn't make it up.

Yeah, that we will have to face up to the real reality of the arseholes we made a wimp's peace with.....buying them off with power and money.

If they want to start up again, at least we can kick them out....well those with balls would and then we wouldn't have murderers and the supporters of those who murdered British soldiers partly ruling over British territory.

If there is a sea border to allow peeps and goods across the land border, we'd have effectively created a united Ireland in all but name. All those soldiers lives lost for nothing because Cameron didn't realise what a Pandora's box he was opening.
