Toays second download is a set by Nirvana that was recorded at the Trans Musicales Festival, Rennes, France on the 12th July 1991. This is in suiperb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of bootlegs and albums by Nirvana over the years - this is another top show even though it's a short one. The band start off with a cover of The Who's "Baba O'Riley" and then belt through the set which includes a wicked version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit". If you like Nirvana - you will definitely want this one... this is the mutts and thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded at the Ozzfest 1999 which was held at the Deer Creek Amphitheater, Noblesville, Indiana on the 29th June 1999. This is in superb quality andt he audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few albums and boots by Black Sabbath over the years on the mp3 thread, but nothing recently.. and I thought it's about time for a bit of live Ozzy - with the rest of the band as well.... A top setlist which includes most of the album "Paranoid" - the album that really launched the bands career. Like Black Sabbath? - grab this show... great stuff... Todays first download is a set by guitar legend Carlos Santana that was recorded at the NHK Hall, Tokyo, Japan on the 10th July 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've lost count of the number of Santana bootlegs I've posted - he always puts on a good show and this is no exception. A top setlist and performance.. this is great stuff and if you like Santana this is a must have.... Todays second download is a set by Kasabian that was recorded at the Mode Bar, Notting Hill, London on the 9th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a webcast by Absolute Radio and it sounds fantastic. The set is an acoustic one - and a really good one as well.. the songs you know with electric guitars, keyboards etc sound totally different when done acoustic. Todays extra download is a set by the Irish check shirted guitar wizard Rory Gallagher that was recorded at My Fathers Place, Old Roslyn, New York on the 8th September 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of albums and bootlegs by RG over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. This is wicked guitar playing and if you like Rory Gallagher - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Pink Floyd front man and guitarist Dave Gilmour and a set recorded at the Stabler Arena, Bethlehem, PA on the 12th July 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of albums and bootlegs by David Gilmour over the years - he always puts on a top show and this is no exception. He plays a selection of his own solo recorded tracks as well as a dip in the Pink Floyd catalogue. This is a wicked show - and this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!.. Todays second download is a set by Slash ft Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators that was recorded at the "World On Fire" album launch party, in New York on the 15th September 2014. The quality of this set is unbelievable - crystal clear, pindrop perfect sound.. and it's a wicked set as well - which ends with the old Guns N Roses number "Sweet Child O' Mine". This is one of the few sets where he doesn't play "Paradise City" - but no matter as it's still a cracking set. This rocks big time... great stuff, thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by former Led Zep front man and vocalist Robert Plant - with his new band The Sensational Space Shifters. This was recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, New York on the 21st August 2014. This show is in superb quality with the audio being taken from a soundboard broadcast of the show on NPR music webstream and it sounds absolutely top notch. The set includes 3 songs from his latest album - as well as a dip into the Led Zep catalogue for a few songs - done totally differently to the way we are used to hearing them. The audience love it... if you like RP then this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!. Todays second download is a set by the late blues guitar legend Johnny Winter. This is a show recorded at the Stadhalle, Bremen. Germany on the 27th January 1987 and the quality is absolutely fantastic - a wicked pre FM soundboard - top sound. Only 6 tracks on this boot by they are really great ones, which ends with a fantastic version of the Rolling Stones classic "Jumpin' Jack Flash". This show rocks and is one I thoroughly recommend. Todays extra download is an unreleased live album by Oasis that was recorded at the International Arena, Cardiff on the 19th March 1996. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a whole load of albums and bootlegs by Oasis over the years - this is another top sounding boot for the collection. There is a short interview at the end of disc 2 which can be deleted if not wanted. A good setlist which includes the hits "Champagne Supernova" "Slide Away" and "Don't Look Back In Anger" all being performed.
