Todays extra download is a live acoustic set by Jon Bon Jovi that was recorded in 1988 - the exact date and venue isn't listed. The quality of the show is superb and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is great stuff and some classics are played like "Livin' On A Prayer" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive". A top backing band as well which includes Richie Sambora on guitars as well. Todays first download is a warm up set by the legendary Rolling Stones that was recorded at the Sullivan Stadium, Foxboro, Ma on the 29th September 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. This is great stuff, some wicked tracks on this one as well... "Tumblin' Dice", "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "Sympathy For The Devil" and "Gimme Shelter" all being performed. The final couple of tracks are from a set at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT. If you like The Rolling Stones - this is a must have... Todays second download is a set by Frank Turner that was recorded at St Vitus Bar, New York on the 4th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted quite a few shows by FT recently and if you grabbed any of those - this is another top sounding show for the collection. A top setlist which the audience really like... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is bootleg of demos by Waysted. The quality of these demos is fantastic - pin drop perfect, crystal clear sound. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by Waysted that I've posted - I had to double check this as I felt sure I'd previously posted some stuff by Waysted - but apparently not. This band rock big time and these demos are fantastic... if you know this band then you are probably already downloading this, if you don't - give them a try.. this is great stuff... Todays first download is a set by Bob Dylan that was recorded at Wembley Arena, London on the 18th October 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of bootlegs by BD in the past - he always puts on a good show. This is another top bootleg for the collection. This is great stuff... and on the bonus tracks he joins up with Tom Petty, George Harrison and Roger McGuinn. If you like Bob Dylan - grab this one.... Todays second download is a set by Drive-By Truckers that was recorded a the Visulite Theater, Charlotte, North Carolina. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by DBT that I've posted - an oversight on my part that will be correcting in the coming month or two. They have been around since 1996 and are from Alabama and play southern rock and have released 10 studio and 3 live albums. They have had a few line up changes over the years as well. If you don't know this band - give them a try... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Aldo Nova that was recorded at the Centrum Theatre, Worcester, Mass on the 25th September 1982. This is in superb qualty and and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast on WAAF-FM Boston. The band were opening for Blue Oyster Cult and played this set. This band rock big time and I've posted a few of their shows in the past. If you downloaded any of those, grab this one as well... only a short set, but a really good one!... great stuff, thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Dire Straits that was recorded at the Majestic Theatre, San Antonio, Texas on the 16th August 1985. This is in superb quality - really great sound and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and its fantastic. A really great soundboard show with excellent mixing from the desk. Some real classics played on this one indlcude : "Expresso Love" "Romeo And Juliet" "Sultans Of Swing" and "Private Investivations".. and thats the only the first disc!!.. the second continues with more classics and the band play "Money For Nothing" "Brothers In Arms" and "Solid Rock". This is one hell of a show and the quality is amazing... grab this one folks.. this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended...
