Can we think of solutions that will be fair and get the best result?
I think the biggest trouble ahead will be massive on the day anger from people in blocks D and F when the singers stand the whole game. Already people come to blows and very heated exchanges when a few stand up too long and others sit in these blocks.
I would have seated the 400 in the back 10 rows (210 seats) with 110 in Block D and 110 in Block F in the back 10 rows (making 440) in a triangle so other people’s views are not blocked (currently this will impact and cause division and anger to greater numbers than the proposed displaced people in Block E)
Additionally in year 1 I would only accept singers who have a ST this season in Lower Holmesdale so displaced people have an option of another seat in LH plus from anyone who does not renew.
In year 2 the section can be expanded by people from AW etc by a % less than the people who do not renew in LH so again LH displaced have option of an alternative seat in LH

Quite and our reputation as a friendly family club has been shot to pieces, other club's fans are pi$$ing themselves laughing at us, are now an object of ridicule.

Look on the bright side as at least they won't be laughing at us breaking the record for not scoring a goal or managing a point any more.

I'm sure that next season they will find another reason to laugh at us

Grow some backbone man, what are you talking about, most fans at other clubs don't know or couldnt care less. Who gives a f*** what some Brighon no mark on a messageboard says. Irrelevant.

Our own fans who are mostly excited by the new singing section. Of course I hope block e get decent seats but the HOL own poll reflects the true picture. Bring it on

Online polls mean diddly squat as they can be easily manipulated by multiple voting and false names etc. If you really think this whole shambles has been good for the club then you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Proof is in the pudding I guess, let's see how it all pans out when it launches next year and how people feel then. One step back, two steps forward? Lets see. I'm optimistic though.

Shambles now, for sure. I believe the right decision has been made in the end and the result next season will be terrific. The polls speak for themselves. Choose to ignore the evidence if you wish. They can also be manipulated to favour your view, but haven't.

Time to accept the decision and try to get behind it. The more united Palace fans are, the better the outcome will be.

The HOL on line poll is about as meaningful as the HF petition,which was a complete farce.
A very small percentage of Palace fans even look at the HOL site.
And anyway where was this poll taken?I saw nothing about it.
