Everyone can see that the HF moving could be beneficial, but in order to make it happen, a lot of things need to work perfectly (people moving of their own volition, etc). It is a complex negotiation and those take time. The club have recognised that but the HF have not, and appear to have watched too much Suits for their own good. Harvey Spector may have given them more leverage before they walked away from the table. They need to come back and work with the club on a long term solution. This is what everyone wants, and the sooner they come back, the better for all. No amount of "negotiation" will get round the issue that currently, they can't stand behind the goal because of the knock-on effect on the whole of the stand. Even if the 100 people in the seats they want to move to were agreeable, it simply couldn't happen at this point in time, and that should have been obvious to the club. I do wonder if there's a bit of 'emperor's new clothes' with Palace; if Parish likes it, everyone else says "good idea boss", no matter how impractical it is in practise.

That should have been the club's response to the request, not to go through a 'thinking about it' exercise, when it clearly couldn't happen for multiple reasons. A lot of people keep saying that ST holders will want to move when the new stand is built, but why would they? I remember when the Holmesdale closed for the stand to be built, I moved to the Arthur and hated every minute that I spent there. The joy of getting back to a seat behind the goal (actually more or less where I always stood on the terrace) was indescribable. In this I am not alone - I think a good number of people who sit behind the goal do so because they like the view of the pitch from that angle and won't change it just because there's a new stand.

The HF feel they were promised the move by the club. I'd like to hear exactly what the club said - if they did make a promise, then they f***ed up; if they only said they'd look into it, and came back with the unfortunate news that existing ST holders wouldn't move, then the HF have thrown an unwarranted hissy fit.

Just quotes from the club statement. HF maintain their silence and with every passing game the call for the club to do something about the stand-off will get louder from other fans.

Probably true in some cases but there’ll be more options to move to or the club to offer. If the HF are still willing to carry on at that time then a lot of sitters will want to go elsewhere anyway and you’ll get not only Holmesdale fans coming over to the centre to cause that but also Arfur standers as well.

If the club are stating they could do something if 100 E blockers volunteered to leave, why didn’t they do anything along those lines in the first place.

HF maintain their silence That's hardly surprising as they can't say anything that would show themselves in a good light
