Phewwwww - if he's not in Sainsbury's car park then he's going nowhere.......

I notice no one has commented on WZ late substitution yesterday.
He went back to the dressing room and despite the cheers I don’t remember him waving to anyone.
So fingers crossed.

From Skysports:

"CHELSEA NEAR £75M ZAHA MOVE

Chelsea are in pole position to sign £75m-rated Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, reports the Sunday Mirror."

It's not from Sky Sports - they are just recycling ANOTHER Mirror "story" about Wilf..!!

If a move to Chelsea were to come about then fine we'll take RLC, Moses and Abraham in return with Hudson Odi on loan..!!

With only 5 days to go - this is the nervy bit - if Wilf does go very little time to bring in suitable replacements.

At the end of the day Wilf only a year in to a 5 year deal - so no need for SP to sell unless the deal right for us.

Don't be surprised to see Levy start his usual nonsense silly bids right at the end of the window trying to unsettle players.

Have you ever noticed Spurs/Levy wants top dollar when selling but cut price when buying...!!

Just want to get to the window closing with Wilf still at Palace - then I'm really excited about what we can do this season.

Why don't you read my comment. Sky reported the story on their website quoting the Sunday Mirror.

I agree that it will probably be cash plus player/s. If Willian stays the threat may reduce but whilst outside toilet paper newspapers that's only fit for the Steptoes to use, I fear that thill need to keep the Rennie's close by till Thursday.

The club and player could put an end to the speculation by simply stating he will definitely not be sold in this window.
Instead he says he happy at the club and Palace say he has four years remaining on his contract and he is integral to the club.
The reality is that if a club comes in with a huge bid acceptable to the club, and if he wants to go, then he will go.
Even United had to sell Ronaldo when Madrid came calling.
If Chelsea came in with an offer combining money and loan/sale deals for RLC and one or two other players Palace may have to consider.
This is the last thing I want as Zaha is as good as anybody I’ve seen in 40 years watching Palace and I really hope he stays.

I can't help but feel if the club hierarchy felt that Zaha may leave within the next few days then they would have started to sound clubs out about replacements. There have been very little or no links between us and other wingers. To me that speaks volumes.

There have been strong links with Antonio and Ings and Hodgson would clearly take Loftus Cheek.
None of these are a direct replacement for Zaha but he would be impossible to replace directly.
Instead a combination of these would fitt Roy’s 4-4-2 formation.
Let’s hope this is a theoretical discussion and and such plans won’t have to be implemented .

If Madrid come in late and get hazard, I think we would be offered too much money for Zaha and he’d be gone.
Not sure that Willian to Barcelona would mean that they would get Zaha , as they’d be paying more for Zaha than they get for Willian, who’s a first choice regular for Brazil.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he stays or goes.

Presumably you are aware we were tracking Max Meyer for a good while and there was precisely nothing in the press until the deal was almost done.
