hi staffie, me again, sorry to be a pain, been looking at a band called Bears Den, and am quite impressed, they have released an ep called Agape about 18 months ago, can you see if its about at all, will probably be on the earole again shortly as they are releasing their debut album in about a month, will try and keep quiet till then, many thanks as always KJB

Todays first download is a set by Legends that was recorded at the Gastiez Jazz Festival, Vitoria, Spain on the 17th July 1997. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds fantastic. This show is dedicated to Joe Sample of Legends who died on the 12th September 2014 of lung cancer in Houston, Texas. Joe was the pianist with the Jazz Crusaders in the 1960's but 10 years later began playing electric keyboards and the group simplified its name to the Crusaders. He appeared on many other artists albums notably Marvin Gaye's Whats Going On - Joni MItchells Court and Spark and Hissing Of The Summer Lawns - Tina Turners Private Dancer - Steely Dans Aja and Gaucho. The Legends were put together by Marcus Miller but they were very short lived... a fantastic line up of musicians make this bootleg a must have... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by former Led Zep front man Robert Plant with his latest band - The Sensational Space Shifters and a set recorded at BBC Television Center, London on the 5th September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I recently posted another RP show at the BBC - this one was also recorded at the same time. If you grabbed that one - give this set a listen. If you like Robert Plant - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted - in a way I guess. This is Bob Geldof and the Vegetarians Of Love and a set recorded at the Town and Country Club in London in 2000 - the exact date isn't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of shows with Bob Geldof as main singer with the Boomtown Rats - even as a solo performer but not with the Vegetarians Of Love!. He performs one of his biggest BR hits - Rat Trap on this one.. so if you like Bob Geldof - grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended...
