Todays first download is a recent set by Neil Young that was recorded last Saturday night at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, Raleigh, North Carolina. The show was in support of "Farm Aid" - an organisation that NY has had many dealings with and performs a charity concert for them every year. This years show is wicked - a top sounding webcast it features the classics "Heart Of Gold" and "Rockin' In The Free World". If you like Neil Young you will definitely want this one.... thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by The Records that was recorded at the Bottom Line Club in New York on the 8th September 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast on WNEW-FM radio and it sounds wicked. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by The Records that I've posted - and I found that surprising. They formed out of the pub rock band Kursaal Flyers and were around from 1978 until the mid 1980's. This is a wicked show and they play some great stuff with a couple of covers - notably The Moves "I Can Hear The Grass Grow" as well as the bands biggest hit "Starry Eyes". Give this one a try.... it's a good one!.. Todays extra download is a set by The Mission that was recorded at the Rockpalast, Dusseldorf, Germany on the 24th November 1990. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a dvd recording of the show and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by The Mission over the years according to my files..just a couple of bootlegs and one studio released album. This is a top show which the audience really seem to enjoy. If you like The Mission then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended..
