Todays first download is a set by Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen that was recorded at Budokan, Tokyo Japan in 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Yngwie that I've posted - but not the first album as I've previously posted his 1984 album "Rising Force" - his first album. This guy rocks big time - but with a classical element to his music. He has released stacks of albums and live shows... so I will no doubt be posting some more of his shows... in the meantime, if you don't know this guy... check it out.. this is great stuff... Todays second download is a rare one - a show by Kate Bush that was recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo, London on the 27th August 2014. This is only her second live show since the 14th May 1979... so you can see what I mean by rare. This is an audience recording - which I don't normally post, but considering how rare this is I had to post it, and I hope an FM show or a soundboard of the tour becomes available soon. In the meantime, here's Kate Bush live for the first time in decades... The song "Tawny Moon" is sung by Kate's son Albert "Bertie" McIntosh - "Among Angels" is Kate solo on piano. Todays extra download is a short set by Rodrigo Y Gabriela that features Metallica Bassist Robert Trujullo. This show was recorded aty the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, Colorado on the 17th August 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The trio started jamming before breaking into a series of Metallica songs - starting off with "Onion" then an acoustic version of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" This is a wicked show and if you like Rodrigo Y Gabriella then this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Depeche Mode that was recorded live in London on the 25.10.82. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and is one of the famous Super Golden Radio Show (Nbr 045). I've posted stacks of DM albums and bootlegs over the years and this is another one for the collection. This is a wicked show, the audience really like it... thoroughly recommended. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Boots by Budgie are very, Very Rare and when I saw this one I immediately grabbed it. This band rock big time and if you like Budgie you will definitely want this one for your collection.... Todays extra download is a short set by Midlake that was recorded at the Hollywood Guitar Centre in February this year. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a pre fm soundboard recording of the show and it sounds top notch. Only 3 songs with an intro.... I deleted 3 other interviews from the set as there was more talking than music. Whats left is 3 top tracks from the bands album "Antiphon" - which I posted a while back. If you like Midlake - then grab this short show... Todays first download is a set by Kasabian that was recorded just a few days ago at the BBC Maida Vale Studios on the 1st September 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show(s). The first ten tracks were recorded in session for the Zane Lowe show and the final two tracks were in session for the Live Lounge with Fearne Cotton. I've posted stacks and stacks of shows and albums by Kasabian over the years - this is anothet top sounding boot for the collection. If you like Kasabian - grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Blue Oyster Cult that was recorded at The Cabaret, San Jose, California on the 26th March 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks and stacks of shows by BOC over the years but I can't see this one in my files - but sometimes bootlegs are wrongly dated or have the names changed. Still it's a really good show with a top 11 minute version of their classic track "(Don't Fear) The Reaper.. being played. If you like Blue Oyster Cult and have grabbed other shows - give this one a shot.. this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Lonnie Mack that was recorded at the early show at the Lone Star Cafe, New York on the 11th July 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted.. which really surprised me... I was sure I'd posted some boots by Lonnie in the past. However, I can't find them so I've started a new file for his stuff which I will be adding to in the future. This is a top show with special guests Keith Richards and Ron Wood joining Lonnie for the last couple of tracks.. this is great blues rock... great stuff and thoroughly recommended..
