If Olise is going to Chelsea, then why are no Chelsea players mentioned as part of a deal ?? If he's going it will be for at least £70m in a year.

With all this talk of clubs coming in for our best players I am shocked and stunned that nobody has shown any interest in Edouard. Was brilliant for Celtic in the Scottish Premier League a few seasons ago. Anybody, please!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Franca won't be playing wide. We need a winger, ideally two. Other weaknesses full backs and, as usual striker. If we got two good wingers, I'd almost overlook that as they should have goals in them. And we know that Clyne, Ward and Mitchell can do a job - just not great by any means. But I don't see us getting two wingers anyway. I think he probably will be. 19 is pretty young to be set as one position.

That's a little excessive with plenty of the window still to go and the two loan options still available. Wilf is obviously a loss but Lerma and Ahamada are upgrades on Luka and Jimmy. Franca (assuming he signs) we will just have to wait and see. Everton and Wolves look in worse shape than last year; Fulham will miss Mitrovic if he goes; West Ham have not got anywhere with replacing Rice; and it's hard to believe all three of the promoted clubs will survive. Last season was an outlier We'll finish 10th to 15th as we always do That's a pretty presumptuous statement, having seen very little of both. Ahmada an upgrade on Macca? Really?

The problem, as I see it, is that our ambition is to remain in the league. This is very laudable as we need the money that this brings to develop the stadium. However that development has/is taking too long and our better, fresher and younger players just see that we are forever destined to be that team whose ambitions don’t get beyond 10th to 15th, hence they want to cut their teeth and move on.

The negative comments are an annual ritual. Just let the bed wetters get it off their chests. It's cathartic.

Maybe an upgrade on last seasons Macca just because he was injured. You would think it couldn’t mean anything else, because an upgrade on Jimmy Mc at his best would be a £70m player in todays market. I’d like to think Ahamada is going to be decent but we’ve seen very little of him against top notch opposition. Lerma replaces Milivojevic, this is a decent move. Franca would not be a replacement for Wilf but hopefully a dynamic player. We need an out and out goal scoring striker and a specialist winger (preferably in the Palace mould of unpredictable and a crowd pleaser).

I love Jimmy as much as the next player, but Jimmy would have never been a £70m player...... £30m maybe
