My concern is for those NOT in the so called 'Singing section' who will have their view obscured by all these supporters standing throughout the game. Persistent standing is against the ground regulations but clearly the club will choose to turn a blind eye as they have done before. Edited by Willo (22 Nov 2018 12.14pm) Let's not start this debate again. Whether you agree or not, the reality is that a lot of fans prefer to stand and that it's impossible to police. Standing at the back of the block will have minimal impact anyway as there is no one behind them. If they were standing at the front of the block, you'd have a good point.

And a lot of supporters wish to sit and watch the game without having their view obstructed by persistant standers. Anyhow I have made by view on this patently clear, resulting in a plethora of fiesty exchanges on HOL, so I believe you are sensible in advocating that this debate should not be re-introduced as it will only result in the same old arguments being aired probably much to the chagrin of many.

Ah, the "I'm right, you're wrong so shut up" brigade strike again.
All good. Nothing bad. |

I've merely stated the fact that rightfully or wrongfully, that there are a lot of people prefer to stand. Willo has correctly stated that there are also a lot of people that prefer to sit. If the people who prefer to stand are at the back, it will have little to no effect on those in front or to the side who prefer to sit. Thank you for your contribution.

As has been mentioned on here so many times the whole thing has been badly handled by the club and that really should not surprise anybody. Personally I believe the first thing that should have happened once this relocation of the HF was announced is all season ticket holders in the lower tier be invited to vote to see how well the idea was supported. If the result came back as we're happy as we are then that should have been the end of it. If the vote was in favour of the HF occupying the back of Block E the club should be introducing phases to ensure those effected are treated as fairly as possible. The first thing the club should be insisting on is anybody wishing to join the singing section is an existing season ticket holder. They would need to register their interest before an agreed cut off date. The departing season ticket holders currently in Block E would then be invited on either a points system or first come first serve to select new seats. The selection available would therefore be expanded by not only what is currently available but by the extra 400 that are being vacated for the singing section to assemble. If those departing Block E feel that the seats on offer are nowhere near the standard that they currently have then the idea should be shelved. I already know of two people that are ready to snap up Block E season tickets who are currently in restricted views at the back of the AW.

Really ?? Surely the ideas I have presented are the complete opposite to what Steve Parish has suggested.

Bert, Ethel & son Nigel need to stop moaning & just move! You have been offered compensation, If you like there will be plenty of seats available in block B for you to choose from. Your happy enough for the HF to be stuck in block B while you seem to think you own the seats in block E & what a liberty you are being asked to move! Bert, Ethel & son Nigel Take your flask of tea & your home made sandwiches with you & thanks for you support over the years!

Bloody cheek HF choose to sit in Block B as did all the other fans in E Block. Why should they move there, HF should move back and support the club and stop blaming one set off fans for the poor atmosphere. These people have been with the club for years and the pathetic compo is an insult to their loyalty.

Ah, I see that you didn't read the HF release that featured inclusivity then. Sense of entitlement cuts both ways don't you think. Edited by Mapletree (22 Nov 2018 10.13pm)

Ridiculous post. Does nothing to help your side of the debate (which I’m on btw). Have a think next time.
