Perhaps follow that up with guidance on how to emigrate to China (might not be your thing though since they don't act so communist anymore).

You're faith in Big Government is misguided.

Oh dear. Not that old chestnut.

You have completely dismissed deaths caused by capitalism because I googled it. You are the one what's legged it from the argument. Are you saying deaths during the great depression aren't anything to do with free market capitalism . If so, how?

How can you criticise free market capitalism? It's more responsible for enabling the modern western world than anything else.

It has its abuses like all human systems but it works.....even the self described communists...outside of NK use it....it's the god they pray to.

Are you saying the deaths are just collateral?

However, I don't see how Trump is all that cozy with Russia, for the cameras, yeah maybe? But how else can one act with another nuclear power with the cyber infrasture to cripple your grid?

Trump has signed legislation enabling significant sanctions against the Russian federation [Link] and has not waivered on the Magnitsky Act which is the single greatest way to punish Putin and the oligarchs behind him.

[Link]

Trump has, notably, never criticized Putin in public; moreover he usually showers him with compliments. As to sanctions, yes, Trump signed the bill (in private, unusually) - which would have become law without his signature in any case - but then fired off a couple of angry signing statements and then failed to implement the actions required of him in the bill. He had to be dragged into compliance by the likes of McCain and Corker. [Link]

Trump demanded - and got - only one change to the Republican Party platform as their nominee: the removal the party's support for Ukraine against Russian incursion. [Link]

As to the Magnitsky Act, when TrumpWorld talks about adoptions and Russians - like Jr's initial smokescreen over the subject matter of the infamous Trump Tower meeting - they are talking about the Magnitsky Act. Putin's response to the crippling sanctions imposed under the Act was to prohibit adoptions of Russian babies by Americans. Restoring adoption privileges means softening or removing the sanctions imposed under Magnitsky.

I think all systems kill people and disadvantage some sets of people.

It's a question of what system causes less harm. Any human system is going to come with abuses.

The free market has taken more people out of poverty in the world than any system in the world....it doens't even come close.

Communism works by suppression of human nature and dismantles any meritocracy within systems.....that's part of the reason why people starve in communist economies.

Is the correct answer.

Included for balance.

Trump criticised Russia in Poland.....and when you criticise Russia you are in effect criticising Putin.

He said, 'We urge Russia to cease its destabilizing activities in Ukraine and elsewhere and its support for hostile regimes including Syria and Iran, and to instead join the community of responsible nations in our fight against common enemies and the defense of civilization itself.'

Easily transferable innit.
Im not saying that many many people haven't done well or have a decent quality of life under capitalism. But it's become unfettered , needs reigning in and be more ethically and socially sound in wealth distribution, the rights of workers and resourcing.
But my main point was to counter the oft trotted out years old cliche about how many people did communism kill as a counter to a completely different argument by way of obfuscation.

Authoritarianism taken to extremes kills people...well murders them and it can be left or right.

Communism starves people.

Capitalism.....I agree unfetted capitalism starved the bottom of the meritocracy tree or the bottom class tree.

Regulated capitalism.....with 'free' markets is currently the best system we know. 'free' in quotes because without regulation it becomes corrupt like all human systems.

Regulated capitalism....well any system is worthy of criticism......at the end of the day we all want the same thing.....well I hope we do anyway.

For "balance", here's 80 times Trump glossed Putin: [Link]
