I think your over estimating the demand. We are aren't a big club with a long waiting list for season tickets, not a destination for tourist supporters ( unless playing top 6 club ). Getting to the ground is already a nightmare with very little parking except on crowded side streets and away fans hate coming here due to difficulty on public transport.

Apologies for lack of reply!! I really dont get the problem with away fans getting to the ground. How many clubs are served by 3 rail stations? Yes the roads are congested but we are based in a busy area. I drove today and got back to Horsham within an hour..not that bad.

They're just miffed that when they get off at kings cross or Euston or the m25, they've more than 2 tube changes to do or more than 30 mins once they hit the top of the m25. It's like another journey. 45-60 mins from once the first journey ends. That's the issue, but we are from here so feck em.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Euston's on the Victoria line... one tube and one train, not that hard. They'll whinge about coming down here through London, but will conveniently forget that we have to do that for pretty much every away game outside London...

Rudi is right, having 3 stations near by is easy, it's changing in London that makes it difficult, and being on the south means you have to go all the way through or round London for most clubs. For people who have lived in London using its public transport network is simple. But it's worse than the hunger games for the average northerner. If you mention the tube to them you can see the fear in their eyes. Driving to Selhurst is even worse people who don't know the way. It's so bad that in the 70's the government realised it needed a motorway to serve it, but by the time construction reach Hooley they just gave up because it was too difficult go find a route.
