You do understand that a percentage is a percentage regardless of the sample?

The entire 10% was atributed to immigrants. How do you spin that? It doesn't matter if the sample is 10,1000 or 1,000000. You extrapolate the results.

Were there 20 extra crimes recorded or 200?

What did you make of the difference in crime recorded between N.African immigrants and those from Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan and the report authors perceived reasons as to why there is disparity.

Reading through the article it seems that also that increase includes the fact that victims of crime increase were primarily immigrants. What would be interesting would be whether the increase in crime was proportional to the increase in population by migrants in Germany. A ten percent increase in crime is a worrying figure, but one must also allow for the fact that crime relates to population figures as a whole. Reading through the article it seems that also that increase includes the fact that victims of crime increase were primarily immigrants. What would be interesting would be whether the increase in crime was proportional to the increase in population by migrants in Germany. A ten percent increase in crime is a worrying figure, but one must also allow for the fact that crime relates to population figures as a whole.

Just a thought with absolutely no facts to back it up. Most crime is committed by men - Most criminals are young men - More young men equals more crime Therefore a large influx of young men from anywhere will mean an increase in crime. One more point
