In terms of reducing emissions, that's whats required - Rather than 30 people going out to pick up x, y and z in their cars, one person delivering it. Similar to public transport - London has magnificent public transport links. Seriously, I often wonder why people in London actually drive or own cars. Better 40 people on a bus, than what you tend to get outside out side major town and city areas, which is 40 people individually driving into an town or city, because the bus goes once an hour from the otherside of town and turns up only 3 in 4 times. You have bus lanes and cycle lanes,as that traffic flows, the cars and vans/lorries are stuck in traffic spewing out s*** loads of emissions, so its a bt of a catch 22 situation.

It's primarily to do with the carbon footprint of producing hydrogen vs Lithium Cells as well as the increased capacity of the former....the major drawback though is the stringent infrastructure required for a Hydrogen solution, due to safety purposes.

What a twonk...what does it matter how Brexit is being taught/debated in Universities? He's rightly been called out on it.

I will move on to solar. Solar is amazing. When you are not using your car it stands there charging itself and could be sending power back through the grid. Everything solar is absolutely discumknockerating. No pollution belching power stations climates carbons all greatly reduced or eliminated. I am having the GT solar panels with twin nodding dogs.

I would love for solar panels to be the answer but they're not quite yet efficient enough, having said that Elon Musk himself is already investing heavily in solar so who knows perhaps sometime soon they will be on parity with power then batteries. His company have produced roof tiles that are solar panels in their own right so that will be an interesting thing to keep an eye on over the next few years

'This is the future': solar-powered family car hailed by experts. As the annual solar race across Australia wraps up, a Dutch entry averaged 69kmh from Darwin to Adelaide and resupplied the grid. It's in the Guardian, Eindhoven leading with the Germans closely behind. Also read that renewables can supply 70% of Australian homes already.

I'm still baffled with the Musk 'lovefest' tbh. Anyone would think he's the only one in this field......
