Todays first download is a set by The National that was recorded at Loppen, Copenhagen on the 10th December 2005. According to my files this is the earliest show by The National that I've posted - and I've posted a few shows by them in the past. I've posted a show already this year - the show they did in Sydney, Australia in February. If you grabbed that show - then grab this one as well... this is great stuff... and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Courtney Barnett that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival, Chicago 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the third album/bootleg by Courtney Barnett that I've posted - I've previous posted the bands Glastonbury set as well as their double EP A Sea Of Split Peas. If you grabbed either of those then grab this set as well.. this is a top boot and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download link is a set by Spoon that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on the 2nd August 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. The band are from Austin, Texas and have been around since 1993 and have released 8 studio albums a few EP's and Singles as well a few compilations. I've not posted any of their studio released stuff as yet .. I have no doubt I'll get around to it at some point.. In the meantime if you don't know this band - give them a try... this is a good set and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Franz Ferdinand that was recorded at the T In The Park Festival in Balado, Scotland on the 13th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of albums and bootlegs by FF over the years - they do most of the festivals and there are plenty of good quality bootlegs by this band available. This is a good set with the classics Auf Auchse and Take Me Out from the bands first album being played. If you like Franz Ferdinand - then grab this set ... this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They have released 4 studio albums and 1 live album so far. They are from Atlanta, Georgia and were formed in 2004. If you like the Manchester Orchestra then grab this show.. this rocks and is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Lloyd Cole & The Commotions that was recorded in Paris, France on the 4th December 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted lots of albums and shows by Lloyd Cole over the years - this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. A top setlist with the tracks "Rattlesnakes" "Forest Fire" and "Perfect Skin" all being played. If you like Lloyd Cole and the Commotions then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Of Montreal that was recorded at the Melt Festival in Germany on the 19th July 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - and I know nothing about them except from Wiki - they've been around since the mid 90's and have released over a dozen albums - but I've not posted any in the past... they are an American band from Athens, Georgia.. and they are very visual in the stage performance... If you know of this band - then grab this show.. if not... try it anyway... this is great stuff... Todays extra download is a set by The Hellacopters that was recorded at the Rock Am Ring Festival in Nuburg, Germany on the 5th June 2005. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - I found that hard to believe so I rechecked and it's true. This is a cracking set - this band really rock and they finish the set with the classic MC5 number "Kick Out The Jams".. this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended...
