How can anyone take the "war" seriously when there looked like 20,000 traveling Ukraine men of fighting age at the Ukraine game in Germany the other day.......

Censored as in cancel free speech and free thought, how very left
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Highlight of the election so far for me has to be the visit of Rishi to the Titanic museum. I'm still laughing at the sight of him talking nonsense about National Service in front of a huge model of the titanic half submerged in the water. Thanks for the memory I think.

Of course we could, and always did, take control of our own affairs! It’s you and all the Euro-sceptics who never understood the point about how the EU actually works. The UK was, always has been, and remains today, a sovereign nation. All that happened during our time as members of the EU was that in some areas of common interest we agreed to cooperate and share the decision making, delegating the leg work to a central body. That was our decision, made by us, removed by us. It did not extend to vital areas of fiscal control, foreign policy or defence. It concerned areas where it was more efficient and effective to do things collectively. The principle, much quoted by Thatcher, of subsidiarity, being applied. At no time have I expressed anything but total contempt for the people smugglers. It’s them who need to be found and locked away for a long time. I worked, in my early years, for a car insurer. Premiums were always determined on assessed risk, whatever the regulations might have been. So far as I am aware the EU regulations only impose common sense. Making it compulsory for drivers to possess insurance, that it extends across the EU and builds a fund to cover uninsured risk. I am neither a farmer nor involved in the movement of animals in any way. Are you? I am far from certain about this area. I am though aware that Brexit caused difficulties that weren’t there before. Some of the issues being explained here:- Your para. 1: You're getting increasingly silly. It's very hard to debate with someone who in the end resorts to a downright lie. 2: Yes, we agreed to surrender our sovereignty but have now taken it back. 3: Nothing to do with the point I was making. 4: If the insurer you worked for chose to ignore the regulations, it was in the wrong. 5: You say you are "far from certain" on the subject of movement of animals. I think everyone realised that.

And our politicians don't use the Russians for propaganda? The idea that Farage has to deny his own correct prediction about Ukraine is daft. Trump, Farage or anyone else is entitled to express an opinion on the situation during an election period. There is no wartime restriction on speech. No they don’t! There is no need to. We don’t need convincing. I am not suggesting Farage needs to deny anything at all. He is entitled to his opinion. He just ought to be more thoughtful and avoid saying anymore than he needed to. Whereas he got angry and doubled down. It wasn’t wise to hand propaganda to an enemy of democracy. Things don’t need to be illegal to be irresponsible. Especially for a politician. Especially during an election period.

I think everyone realised that. We never surrendered our sovereignty! That was always an outright lie. Deflections in responses occur frequently here. Insurers don’t ignore regulations. Regulations don’t control every aspect of insurance. Many things being matters of judgement or company policy. No one here is, I suspect, an authority on the movement of animals. Even after finding the detailed advice I was little wiser. All I learned was how confusing it must be for those trying to administer it. Which was a great outcome for Brexit.

Presumably, you think this because you have believed the propaganda. What I know is that I live in the West and I align with Western values, while they still exist. I reject anything that threatens them or the safety of my loved ones. You support an immigration policy that threatens those things, and yet you get on your high horse about Russia and what Nigel Farage says. How can you be taken seriously?

Crazy Ivan and those reds under the bed need stopping. Now they're in bed with red China it's a commie alliance. The cold war is back - at least it's familiar to all of us and, most importantly, the US defence industry.

Tories are a ‘shower of s***’, says Conservative candidate James Cracknell. True and incomprehensible why the gambling miscreants have not been suspended. It looks worse are there really tories sprinting into betting shops with their wedges laying on the election date, do they have inside info? Another blow for Rishi, if it gets any worse he will start picking up sympathy votes.

I observe and I then I judge. It’s a while since I was in Moscow but I saw enough then to know that what we being told at home was not propaganda. I don’t think that’s changed. Yet another thread that you manage to bring immigration into. You have been flogging that hobby horse for so long and so hard it must surely be on its last legs! I am sure that a Swiss clinic would help you do the kindly act. I don’t take you seriously! But it’s good to keep abreast of such thinking, as well as enjoying the laughs,
