Either way we need another striker to compliment Wickham / Sørloth/ Benteke...

Still need a quick striker who's deadly at finishing.

If Benteke comes good great. If not it can't hold us back. Like it is this season.

We create so many chances a top level striker would have a field day with us. Absolutely criminal he's got what two goals? All season...!

If we can hold on to the same midfielders for next season and bring in 2 keepers (one already signed) then next up has got to be TWO
strikers. Irrespective of how good Sørloth and Wickham are.

Dembele would be a great addition. Or see what we can get from the relegated flock

I was there and thought that he had a poor game.
He gave the ball away time and time again and was toothless going forward on the whole.
Second half he had a great chance to switch the ball left to an unmarked Townsend but instead ran into no-mans land and gave the ball away again.
His team mates must be sick of him and his attitude

Couldn’t see from where we were at the time as so far from the goal but on the tv was a really poor decision no to play Townsend in. Suppose can’t blame him for trying but was the wrong decision. Thought some of his hold up play was ok it’s just he’s not going to score.

I am sure if Sørloth was fit Tekkers would have been benched. It’s unbelievable our luck at the moment....

Benteke has been very disappointing this season in terms of goals but contributes far more to our general play than a lot on here seem to notice. We know from last season that he can do the business so let's keep him next season and try to rebuild his confidence. As others have said, we need to sign another quality striker to improve cover and competition for places.

Save for me this, I agree that he has been carpet for weeks. We really must hold out until the end of the season as his effort yesterday was much better.

There are no transfer windows between now and end of season, so we must pin (some of) our hopes on Tekkers. But please, please release during summer - the earlier the better! OK, take a loss in money and just move on!

I don't know! Maybe he loves Palace so much that he decided to give it go.

Why what do you think?

If they was enough cover for his position he definitely would have been dropped no doubt about that. It's the same story with him, not doing this and that playing someone in when we could have scored, his whole performance match after match is not good enough.

I realise he's some fan's favourite, and with injuries roy carries on playing him thinking he will score and think he would get an hatful of goals in other matches coming up.

It's just so frustrating to watch him play, with the chance's he's missed the fan's are probably thinking of another forward if he was fit he would have put that away and score, and we would have gone on and won matche's, it's the losses what we've ended up with that's the main thing some fan's are fed up with. And that's religation form for me.

It's his job to score goal's and to help the team and club to succeed and keep us in the premier league, the losses have taken there toll and it's the reason why we're in a religation dogfight.

The season's not over yet i no, and every match coming up is a cup final so to speak i just hope we make it and if we play like we did yesterday we should win this dogfight with a si of relief I no i will.

Personally cannot see him being sold next season unless we are relegated. Wickham and Sorloth will be around so if he doesn't perform he can be dropped. Need another striker as well, if he goes would need 2 in my opinion. Look at Bournemouth, they have scored in their last 12 league games from MoD with a whole host of different strikers, King, Wilson, Mousset for Afobe, Defoe. We have struggled with the amount of strikers for seasons now. Need 4. The fourth should also be different to the other 3, a finisher in the box not necessarily an ox.

Yeah, good post!

Another striker is someone I doubt we'll be making a priority. Plenty of other holes need filling and strikers can cost.
