It seems to me that there is an awful lot of confusion over why so many, me included, think "Robinson" to be a rabble rousing menace. It has nothing at all to do with the issues that he believes need to be "exposed". That these issues exist is obvious and to believe that the responsible authorities are either unaware or seeking to deal with them is naive. The ONLY way to handle these issues is professionally drawing on all the collective wisdom and expertise of our paid experts. That such things are difficult and demanding and might require long term strategies to succeed doesn't alter that. Winding up the already angry and biased in the way that "Robinson" does is more than unhelpful. It tends to taint a whole religion as criminal. This divides us at a time when we need good people from every community on the same side. So I believe that those who think "Robinson" to have performed some kind of public service by "exposing the truth" to be mistaken. The truth would have been known and being dealt with; just not in a way that everyone approves of. For instance the problem of radicalisation by some islamists in our prisons is well understod. Dealing with it is challenging but "Robinson" only makes it worse by convincing those targetted that they are regarded as lesser people by British society so they need to fight back. But it has taken them years to even acknowledge these grooming gangs exist, mainly because of the ethnic make-up of such gangs...no-one wanted to rattle the PC Brigades cage

Lennon may or may not have accelerated - or impeded - justice in recent cases. It’s a shame his focus is solely on Muslims. There are plenty of other examples including close to home.

But it has taken them years to even acknowledge these grooming gangs exist, mainly because of the ethnic make-up of such gangs...no-one wanted to rattle the PC Brigades cage It has nothing at all to do with any kind of political correctness! We just need to avoid attaching labels to people that are irrelevant. The people involved are criminals. Whether they are called Smith, Murphy, Patel, Cohen or Khan makes no difference. You judge people as individuals by what they do and do not associate any innocents. We need to encourage the vast majority of perfectly decent, law abiding, culture respecting British muslims to condemn and isolate every criminal who originates inside their community. What we must not do is drive them into the arms of the radicals by not opening ours to them. Which is why "Robinson" is such a dangerous rabble rouser who deserves the roasting he regularly receives.

It isn't his problem that because you and others aren't that this problem was allowed to grow and fester for many many years before the pus from the wound became impossible to hide anymore. It's a weird argument to make that Robinson shouldn't be focused only on Islam.......Well, actually Robinson isn't 'only' focused upon Islam but this problem is so large that it's all he's become known for.

BS And what's the cat got to do with it? There are loads and loads of examples from all over the place. Muslim gangs are a clear and current example but there is no proof Lennon's activity made any difference at all. Nor that it was ignored because they are Muslims, goodness knows earlier cases were not addressed for far longer for whatever practical, emotional or political reasons. He just hates Muslims, as you say. He shouldn't disguise that hatred by only using paedophilia which he knows will resonate more than anything else.

Nor that it was ignored because they are Muslims, goodness knows earlier cases were not addressed for far longer for whatever practical, emotional or political reasons. That's one weird paragraph. For one, before this broke in the press these examples weren't widely known about and only by those directly affected or dealing with them. The fact that Robinson was referring to this problem before it because public knowledge and was ignored is evidence that he was right and that those in charge were scared of 'racism' complaints and willing to allow this disgrace to continue rather than be the figurehead who exposed it and risked their job(s). Who are the kind of people responsible for creating this climate of fear I wonder? Who are the kind of people calling for people's careers to be extinguished over claims of 'racism'? What is more important, the truth or the popularity of the truth. I see where you stand on this Maple. As for you requiring 'Proof'.....there is plenty of 'proof' the judicial summary for one. Go read a book on it. Originally posted by Mapletree

You are buying into a reductionist argument so that you can demonise him and hence ignore the validity of what he is saying.

The problem is that I have never met anyone who 'just hates' anything. There is always a reason why people feel the way they do and sometimes those reasons might be illogical but in this case, what Robinson has voiced has proven to be true. They would prefer that this all remained suppressed as you would. That is the problem with your type of social constructor. You want to keep laying the bricks while the foundations are crumbling. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (23 Jun 2019 11.10am) Don't you dare say I would like this suppressed On the contrary, I would like all cases addressed immediately and to the highest degree. Yet you only taken an interest in this topic when it suits your agenda. I grew up bordering Shirley Oaks, I know people that were permanently affected. Believe me, this is an area about which I feel passionate. And one where I don't want false news - suiting the personal agendas of individuals - to cloud the issue.

Putting your whataboutery to one side for a moment... It's because there are multiple campaigners who are focusing on the type of abuse you mention. Robinson only exists because he is the only one speaking up about Asian grooming gangs. How many others can you name?
