Take a look at whats available for Stoke .... very limited, a few odd singles up the back and behind pillars or next to away section. Improved stadium with improved facilities will bring more fans to matches ..... provided we avoid the drop.
they like polishing a turd this ground needs to go either knock it down rebuild or find another place to build. The other problem is the ticket/season prices are rip off

no it wont the place is nightmare to get to and they have no way to fix that. they like polishing a turd this ground needs to go either knock it down rebuild or find another place to build. Cheapest tickets at Selhurst are £27, not bad in the PL. Season tickets start at £420 which again isn't bad for the PL. Not sure why you find Selhurst a nightmare to get to unless it is during a rail strike, but I suppose that depends on where you live.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

not sold out then. And some think we could fill an extra 10,000-15,000 seats against the same team in seven years. Not gonna happen. No is sold out unless you want to sit on your own behind a pillar.

No is sold out unless you want to sit on your own behind a pillar. I saw School of Rock in Drury Lane in August. Every seat including restricted view ones were occupied. That is Sold Out.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Look in the season 2017/18 tab at the top of the page ... nearly all our home premier league fixtures are around the 25000 mark give or take a few hundred either way. That suggests we have reached our capacity and were there more decent seats available then they would be filled.

People saying we can't/won't sell out a 40K stadium are missing the point. I'm sure we wouldn't be getting 40,000 against say Watford on a wet February evening, but the capacity of 40K would bring in additional revenue like England U21 Games & Concerts etc.... I think we will sell out 40K as long as it's priced right, we do a reasonable season ticket scheme and you don't have to jump through hoops to buy a seat for individul games.

We are aren't a big club with a long waiting list for season tickets, not a destination for tourist supporters ( unless playing top 6 club ). Getting to the ground is already a nightmare with very little parking except on crowded side streets and away fans hate coming here due to difficulty on public transport.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Two and a half years ago we played Liverpool in the 5th round of the FA cup on Saturday evening and failed to sell out with kids tickets at £5 and adults £20. Man City at home in the same competition last season and similar prices yielded a gate of about 12,000 IIRC. Been to Cardiff and Swansea and their grounds are rubbish. Sounds like the Arthur needs improving but not sure the stadium needs increasing in capacity by too much unless we want the fans who view us as their second team.

BBC London radio before the Stoke comms. "Palace will make an announcement about stadium plans on Monday 27 November" keep tuned folks Hope its massive development, i cant do with all this we wont fill it talk, who cares? For 40 odd years ive been waiting for a few massive stands and if some seats are empty while we continue to grow so be it, but the way the countrys going down the pan, if we dont grasp the opportunity, i doubt it will ever happen, build it now and build it big as you can!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave Took part in the travel survey today, thanks for the heads up yesterday on here. Happy to answer the questions, hopefully 3 in a car is 'sustainable' enough for the travel plan we will no doubt have to submit as part of the application I suspect the majority travel by train to games these days all logical questions really, I guess it informs them of what needs extra capacity be it car parks, train services or whatever
