They were not wearing masks and became abusive towards hospital staff, refusing to leave. Videos have been circulating on social media which show a group trying to remove a coronavirus patient from hospital and arguing with doctors. Two people have been fined over the incident, which took place last Thursday. East Surrey Detective Chief Inspector Kimball Edey said: "We would like to speak to Hayden Leigh in connection with this incident, and the escalating abusive and threatening comments being made towards hospital staff on social media. These comments are extremely concerning, and are obviously causing considerable distress for those who are being targeted." Dont you get the S---s when the Aussies teach us Poms how to handle a pandemic. Some months ago I suggested that lockdown as we had here was the way to go and you are now even using the hotel quarantine system we used too. Look at our stats since October. We have had no community infections in Victoria for months. Any infections have been international visitors and have been managed whilst in hotel quarantine. The response I received from my original comment was that we had succeeded at the expense of our economy which is currently going quite well. I guess the same cannot be said of the UK economy currently. Anyone for tennis, Oops!

Dont you get the S---s when the Aussies teach us Poms how to handle a pandemic.
Some months ago I suggested that lockdown as we had here was the way to go and you are now even using the hotel quarantine system we used too.
Look at our stats since October. We have had no community infections in Victoria for months. Any infections have been international visitors and have been managed whilst in hotel quarantine.
The response I received from my original comment was that we had succeeded at the expense of our economy which is currently going quite well.
I guess the same cannot be said of the UK economy currently.
Anyone for tennis, Oops!

Taiwan has about the same population as Australia and have had less cases than Australia has had deaths. Maybe we should take a lead from them instead.

My point regarding population was if U.K. have 40m more people and many cities are overcrowded then infection rate is always going to be higher. I have always said our Borders should have shut completely but unfortunately we seem to bow to the airline industry, don’t get me started on those that cross the channel, many of whom are Covid positive.
