Certainly Johnson thought so, and it interfered with the tories brexit dream, they just thought it was foreign and unlikely here damaging the economy etc. If it hadn't been for Macron threatening to shut the border altogether Johnson would have carried on ignoring the reality from Italy etc. and we would indeed now be looking at pandemic figures. The Asian flu epedemic of 1957, completely ignored by MacMillans Tory government, was left to NHS doctors to manage and claimed over 80,000 lives. The difference I fear is there is not a foreseeable end to this and we will have to accept fundamental changes in our lives. But it is very much a case of work it out for yourself. Governments are seriously damaging to your health. Joe public clearly struggles to work it out for themselves or did Cummins make them go to the beach or the park or have shindigs!

Man wanted by police after group snuck into coronavirus ward and became abusive towards doctors Quote Surrey Police says it is trying to track down 45-year-old Tobe Hayden Leigh "as a matter of urgency" after a group gained access to a critical care ward at East Surrey Hospital.
They were not wearing masks and became abusive towards hospital staff, refusing to leave. Videos have been circulating on social media which show a group trying to remove a coronavirus patient from hospital and arguing with doctors. Two people have been fined over the incident, which took place last Thursday. East Surrey Detective Chief Inspector Kimball Edey said: "We would like to speak to Hayden Leigh in connection with this incident, and the escalating abusive and threatening comments being made towards hospital staff on social media. These comments are extremely concerning, and are obviously causing considerable distress for those who are being targeted." Detective Edey added that Leigh should be tracked down "due to the public health risk he poses". "He came into close proximity with a patient who remains seriously ill with COVID and may well have contracted the virus himself." - [Link] Poor doctors. Having to put up with these idiots, fuelled by the usual social media sh!t.

Banning International flights was part of our lockdown. We are now reopening those flights gradually. Population of Oz 25,00,000 UK 65,000,000 whats your point? In that time span, how many International arrivals did Australia have, compared to the U.K.?

My point regarding population was if U.K. have 40m more people and many cities are overcrowded then infection rate is always going to be higher.
