I agree. Not sure what Gray has done to justify the interest to be honest. My mate is an Evertonian and he “can’t wait to see the back of the lazy so and so”. Lots of talent but not a great work ethic by all accounts.

It is worrying ,firstly because a number of those on here are well aware of the short comings in the squad, but for the manager to highlight it is really concerning.
It indicates he isn’t aware of getting the players he clearly would want, dare say ,
expect.
If there are irons in any fire Roy can’t know of them , or why make such a clear and obvious statement regarding the weakness of the squad? Bothered before,worried now.

It really is déjà vu to hear Roy stating we're short on numbers with just over a week before the season starts. Who is the other star player that we lost though? Does he mean Luka or McArthur? I was concerned that may have been a slip of the tongue to indicate Olise is off.
